John Frieda® Blow Dry Lotion Root Booster

With this product, id recommended it to those who have really really flat hair by the roots. And you need to spray a little by your roots with each layer when blow drying your hair, as it is meant to be used when you blow dry your hair, it's a blow dry lotion. I think blow dry lotions are meant to basically add moisture to the hair. And give it a shiny look to those who also have dry scalps.

So if you have this problem. Do yourself a favor and grab this product from the range!

This is an amazing product, it gives you that instant volume with just a few sprays around the crown area. I also use this product paired with the volume mousse. This product is easy to use and also the bottle is convenient for traveling so you can take it with you when you jet setting off. This product is not oil based to it also keeps the root area clean and does not attract ay dirt particles. This product keeps that volume in your hair and for much longer. Definitely recommend you use this product if you looking for extra volume.

Wow!! I LOVE this product! Its so easy to use and works like a bomb! I usually use it twice a week on towel dried hair. I then blow dry my hair roughly brush, brush it out and I'm done! My roots are instantly volumized! I only use a small amount since I have very thin hair and too much of the product te ds to make it stiff and yucky.

This weekend I was feeling all bleh and sick... and as life is - it was hair wash day! Was not in the mood to put in all the effort.

Ladies! I shampood and conditioned with the lovely John Frieda products and sprayed some root booster on the roots and dried roughly. I had such body! Straightened it the next day and BAM = perfect look!

Okay, first things first. If a FUSSY HAIRDRESSER, like myself, is blown away from this product; you bet your bottom dollar that is a groundbreaking hair product!

After one use of the John Frieda Luxurious Volume Root Booster Blow dry Lotion; my hair was so plump and full I could not believe what I was seeing. This product has immediate results. I felt like the product was doing all the work and I did not have to put any extra effort to achieve that full, voluminous blowdry that I love. My hair was left looking amazing and it did not leave my roots feeling sticky at all.
A winning formula in my opinion.

Upon using this product, instant improvement could be seen almost immediately. I have very thin, very flat hair. My thin and flat hair is magnified once blow dried. A problem I've always had. The scent of this product is amazing, I also loved how there is no oily residue left afterwards. The reason why I like this product so much is the fact that it is a little bit apart from other blow dry lotions. Other blow dry lotions are usually a product you dispense in your hand and apply to your roots.
This product sprays at quite a high velocity, I am at loss for a better word actually. Like it wakes up your roots a bit and make them stand upright. It is a very cool and refreshing feeling on your scalp.
The real question here is whether it lifts the roots and keep the volume? I have very heavy hair and products like these very seldom achieve that purpose.
This product actually does just that. It is like the little round polymers stock to your roots, and fill in the gaps so that there won't be any space left for your hair to fall flat on, if I can paint a picture like that to explain it better.
I really think that the John Frieda Luxurious Volume range is so smartly designed and does what it say it will do.

I was lucky enough to be chosen to review this range (thanks BB!). I hadn't heard of John Frieda before Beauty Bulletin, nor had I seen it on the shelves, so chances are I wouldn't have tried it otherwise. I didn't know anything about it or what to expect.

This Blow Dry Lotion was probably my favourite of the range. It's a white thin liquid, which you spray onto your hand. It has a very gently stickiness to it, but nothing like hair spray. I applied it to my roots only as per the instructions, tilted my hair upside down and blowdried as normal. The effect was noticeable.

Sometimes I have flat hair days, where no matter what I do, I can't seem to make it look like it has body. It's lifeless, and it's sad. This product will definitely be used on days like that, or days when I need an extra bit of vavavoom, such as a party or event. The bonus is that it has a lovely scent too, similar to the shampoo and conditioner, and this scent lasts... I kept getting whiffs of it all night :)

I have never used a product like this before so I was sceptical at first, I usually shy away from added product in my hair due to oiliness or sticky residue...well I was pleasantly suprised as this left neither behind....what it did leave behind though was 'hello gorgeous' volume from the roots.
Hair is very limp and fine and the volume I once had left my person when I had a baby, but thanks to this amazing product I forsee gorgeous voluminous hair in my immediate future.
Easy to hold and use bottle, just a few sprays at the root, I used my fingers to distribute further through the hair and then blow dried as per normal. Some brushing and styling and I was good to go,
Really like this one as well, may not use it every time I do my hair but great if you want you and your hair to make a statement.
I would recommend this to a friend or anyone in need of volume but I would not necessarily go out and buy it on a regular basis.

Upon stumbling across this product I found the formula quite interesting . Although the name says it to be a lotion , it has quite a liquidy form.

I found myself to be very fond of the packaging as it is a spray bottle making you save up on so much product.

A few sprays on my roots creates instant thickening and soft volume hair.
I also love the fact that this product is non-sticky. I've used the Tresemme Blow dry lotion before and it had an ugly residue , but thats not the case here!

Overall this is certainly one of my favorite product in the range and I would highly recommend you to try it out!. THIS IS THE SECRET TO GET THE EXTREME ROOT LIFT .

Initially I was a bit confused by this product as it doesn’t look anything like a lotion. Packaged in a cute spray bottle, it has a thin, liquid texture, and is meant to be used only at the roots to create lift. Aside from my initial confusion, I really enjoyed this product and felt it did exactly what it promised. My roots were lifted without feeling stiff and the product smelled delicious. I will say that you should try not to overdo it at the roots as more than two sprays per section seemed to weigh the hair down rather than boost it up. I was happy with the longevity of the product as I didn’t lose volume after a few hours, as I have in the past with similar products.

John Frieda Style Setter Lizelle gave me this product to try for my always-flat-against-my-head hair. I used it and fell inlove!! I shampoo and condition my hair and just before i start to blow dry, I lift my roots and spray it evenly section for section. I blow-dry my hair and afterwards I can feel that my roots feel harder, I think that is the lifting effect working. I even passed the product on to my mother and her hair has much for volume for longer everyday.
