John Frieda® Full Repair® Strengthen & Restore Shampoo

I do a lot with my hair very often, so I need a trustworthy product that I can rely on. I use a lot of heat on my hair almost 3- 4 times a week and every now and then I love to dye and bleach my hair.

Now my mother owns a hair salon, so you can imagine all the freebies I get and the different types of products that is available to myself on a daily basis.

Over the years I have used a bunch of products on my hair and now it’s become damaged, brittle, dull and weak. So now because of that I’ve toned down on products that can damage my hair, as well as heat.

But now I’ve discovered this amazing product. John Frieda’s - Full Repair, shampoo and my hair looks and feels so much softer healthier. I haven’t experienced any hair loss since I’ve use this product and I can honestly see and feel the difference.

Just a few weeks ago I’ve decided to bleach my hair and still the product makes my hair feel amazing.

The other lovely aspect about JF, FR shampoo is the smell of it. It’s absolutely amazing.

I think for the results that I’ve seen and experienced with JF, FR shampoo, I wouldn’t mind spending money on it and I would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

Being blonde is hard, not only on your hair but also on your budget! This shampoo is gentle to the scalp whilst enriching dry and damaged hair to restore incredible shine and health!

The shampoo is unlike any other I have used. I found it to be moisturizing instead of drying. In the past I found that I either had to wash-rinse-repeat to make sure I've gotten a good cleaning or use a clarifying shampoo, both options left my scalp clean but my hair really dry. What I love most about this shampoo is that it's ability to clean my hair of product build-up is in no way tainted by its moisturizing properties when used.

PACKAGING:
When I received these goodies and opened up the parcel, I was very pleasantly surprised.

Each product is very clearly indicated (SHAMPOO, CONDITIONER) etc.
No funny caps or lids, just very user friendly.
Very durable plastic, no glass bottles or breakable parts.

SCENT:
As strange as this may sounds, I found the shampoo & conditioner to smell like Licorice All Sorts. If you open a bag of Licorice All Sorts and smelt it, then smelt the shampoo or conditioner, you’d have the same scent in my opinion.

The other products however don’t smell like much of anything, just very neutral and I like that.

RESULTS:
When I first tried the range, I hardly felt any difference and was really confused. I decided to give it another go and see the results again, see if anything was different, and after 2 to 3 washes, it was!

This particular range is very interesting in the way that it repairs and strengthens your hair, but without weighing it down, like some traditional repair ranges. It hardly feels like anything has changed on the first couple of washes, but once your hair has dried there is a noticeable difference, and if used in conjunction with the oil elixir and mask, your hair feels amazing!

My hair is now silky, smooth and strong, but most importantly light weight and movable, not weighed down or “clogged”!

So my advice would be, give this range some time to do its work and expect results after about 3 washes, and you’ll most likely only see the difference once your hair is dry.

This product should be in every persons vanity case! this glorious shampoo cleans and nourishes hair leaving it silky soft and swish-able! my hair has stopped falling out and breaking after just one week of usage. For the price, Its not bad at all. One tube lasts me 4 months or so and my hair is below my collarbones

Like every good hair repair kit you need a good shampoo to cleanse your hair. This shampoo is amazing and even just after using it my hair felt ten times better.

Full Repair to the rescue!

As a bottle blonde (hello breakage!) who shampoo's daily, I need a product that lives up to expectations. Years of bleaching and heat styling were no match for John Frieda Full Repair Shampoo!

I was enticed at first to try the product because of its attractive packaging and in the hope that the key ingredient, Inca Inchi oil, would help to restore my parched locks.
I love the scent of this shampoo, refreshing and uplifting without being overpowering.
The shampoo works itself into a generous lather and cleans thoroughly enough that a second wash isn't necessary. Immediately my hair felt soft and manageable, even before applying conditioner. I've experienced less knots and tangles when my hair is still wet, and after drying it feels weightless and silky. Normally I wouldn't be able to get away with just 'air drying' my hair after washing, but after a few uses of this product I can! I can say with confidence that that I've noticed an improvement in the condition and texture of my hair since using the John Frieda Full Repair Shampoo.

I adore this product! It leaves hair silky smooth and helps to remove tangles easily! I apply it to wet hair after shampooing and conditioning! My hair shines and looks so healthy! I love it so much I use it on my 3 and 6 year old daughters, I find one pump works 1000x better than using kiddies de tangling spray, and because you don't use that much to achieve better results it works our cheaper when you do a cost per use equation!

John Frieda full repair oil elixir-full size (R110-100ml)

Was most excited to see this massive bottle in the box as there is a growing trend with hair oils lately. It complements greatly with the massive box of john frieda I was spoilt with a few months ago their products never disappoint. Firstly it smells absolutely amazing. I used 2 pumps as my hair is quite long after washing and followed by blow dying to help the product seep in better and my hair definitely felt smoother and looked more hydrated. You might find the idea of putting oil in your hair a strange concept but it is so light weight I didn’t even notice it was there and even if the scent bothers you I barely noticed the scent after applying it. I also like to apply this after I have curled my hair to give it more shine and over just washed hair to tame fly aways and frizz.

I recommend the John Frieda Full Repair range to all ladies, young and old, although it can be a bit pricey.

I have thin dull hair. Received the John Frieda volume rage containing: Spray, shampoo and conditioner. Wow, like a facial for your hair. I am certain not any other range would ever effect me the same way, having to feel the dryness & tangles disappear while still busy conditioning my hair. The spray lets you cheat and adds volume later.

I have been using John Frieda's Full Repair Shampoo and Conditioner for about 3 weeks now. The first thing you notice is the smell. It is gorgeous and stays in your hair for at least 24 hours. It is incredibly moisturising and leaves my hair feeling incredibly soft. The claim of the shampoo and conditioner to "weightlessly repair to restore full style" is completely solid. I can say that my hair feels lighter and healthier and its completely manageable compared to before.

Now onto the Frizz-Ease Protective Heat Spray, I really really wanted to love this product. I blow dry my hair every second day and GHD my hair every morning so it does tend to be a little head damaged (this was taken care of by the shampoo and conditioner though). The Frizz-Ease Spray states that you can either spray onto damp hair before styling or onto dry hair just before using with your selected heating tool. The problem I found with this is that if I used it my hair would feel greasy later in the day as though I just hadn't washed it that very morning. I tried using it on dry hair with the exact same results which meant I would need to wash my locks every day instead of every other day.

I did find that if I needed to use it for styling purposes if I was going out that night then it worked perfectly, keeping my hair exactly where I needed it whilst keeping it soft, sleek and manageable but again, it would need to be washed the very next morning again.

Overall, the shampoo and conditioner are great products. They live up to their claims in my opinion and price wise, they are definitely affordable at R75.00 for a 250ml tube of shampoo or conditioner and the Frizz-Ease Spray retails for R99.00 for a bottle which I believe is 200ml. You can pick up these products from most Clicks stores.

My hair is very thin and no body at all, it realy did give me that extra full body i was hoping for. Thanx John Fried and BB for choosing me to try out the product.

I don't know how I could live without it or how I lived without it. I used it for the first time yesterday and thought it would be good, just didn't know how good. The shampoo alone left my hair so smooth I could have combed it without any problems, the conditioner I left on longer as I colour my hair blonde myself and it is actually grey so quite prone to dryness. I used the styling mousse and was pleasantly surprised at the hold and ease of styling and the bouncy curl I had at the ends that is still there the next morning. My hair feels as though I have been to the hairdresser. I would recommend this product to anyone and will be using it for a long time. Thank you Beauty Bulletin, this is worth the money it costs.

i recieved my john frieda products last week, was a bit sceptical as i was sent products for fine har even though i said my hair was dry. anyway , i tried it and by golly,my hair at first felt a bit dry and thick but when it got over the shock of this awesome products it feels beautiful. it makes my hair easy to comb through, not as dry as it used to be, will definately recommend this product

Oh, I am a true fan of The Schwarzkopf Gliss range of shampoo's. In fact, I would swear that I would never switch to another range because I love that brand. But I was excited to receive my July Rubybox and was even more excited when I opened the box and this magnificent scent flourished out of it.

It was the John Frieda Full Repair Shampoo and Conditioner. I received my box and work and could not wait to go home to have a shower to try it. The shampoo has such a lovely scent, I cannot even describe it really. It is a very fruity / flowery scent which genuinely lasts in your hair. The shampoo lathers very quickly and you don't even need to use a huge amount of it.

It contains Inca Inchi, which is a lightweight micro-oil rich in omega-3 which repairs the look and feel of over styled hair whilst also adding body. I could immediately feel that the shampoo was de-tangling my hair. I could not get enough of the scent. And trust me the entire bathroom had the scent for a while.

After thoroughly rinsing, I used the conditioner. Now the conditioner has a luxurious feel to it. The scent is also great, but it doesn't really have a strong scent like the shampoo. For intensive repair, it is directed that you leave it in for 2-5 minutes then rinse.

I left mine in for about 3 minutes and when I rinsed, my hair felt so smooth and manageable.

When I combed through my hair, I noticed that there was hardly any breakage because the shampoo and conditioner already removed the tangles in my hair. Usually, I would fight with my comb trying to get rid of the tangles.

After styling and I even used a straightener, my hair had a shine like no other! It was smooth, with no possible damage, it was silky and soft and it smelt great!

I cannot wait to get my hands on a full size! They come in tubes instead of bottles which is quite different. The samples I got were 50ml tubes of each.

Move over Gliss, cos you have a new rival on the market!
