First of all, I would like to thank Beauty Bulletin for this great opportunity to do a review on John Frieda Hair products. I have never gotten anything for free in my entire life, always had to work hard for what I’ve got, so, without working for it, I received a package with John Frieda hair products - thank you Beauty Bulletin.

One thing God has given me that I love is my curly hair. But with curly hair comes responsibility. They eat allot of mousse, curl booster (to get the frizz in control) and knowing how to blow dry them, but still they do what they do best – FRIZZ.

Now what do you do when your hair frizzes to much, you cut it, like I did. For a day or two they look better and frizz less, but then after a while they go back to their normal frizzing. Normally when I go to cut my hair, my words to the hairdresser is “I came so you can cut my grass”


When I try to blow my hair straight, you can still see the frizz, the only people who can get them completely straight are the people at the hair saloons. (and who wants to go every time just to get your hair blown out if you want them straight.)

One of the products I got to review is the FRIZZ-EASE from JOHN FRIEDA. I have tried frizz control products in the past, but now only use mouse to try to control it, but that leaves your hair feeling like sticky sticks. But with JOHN FRIEDA’S FRIZZ EASE it was a completely different story.
When I put it on the first time, two thoughts came to mind. The first was that ithe product feels so oily, yet silky soft, but I think it is going to look like I did not wash my hair for a week. So after I put it on I let my hair dry naturally, because I have to test if it works and those of you who have curly hair will know, when you let your hair dry naturally and brush them out with a hairbrush they frizz even better – I had to really put this product to the test.

The results – WOW – my hair feels silky soft, I can pull a brush through my hair without pain and look – NO FRIZZ – I promise you, I did not blow them out (the wavy effect is evidence of that. I can’t leave my hair alone, they feel so silky and soft.

Remember I said two thoughts came to mind, well the other one was – but I have very thin, fine hair (as you can see in the picture when my hair was still long), the only thing that makes it look like I have allot of hair is the frizz (and a great hair dresser who cut them so that they look thicker). With the frizz they at least have body.

But not to worry, JOHN FRIEDA and Beauty Bulletin took care of that as well, because they must know this, they sent me LUXURIOUS VOLUME shampoo and conditioner.

Again, those with curly hair will know, If you have volume, you have frizz, if you don’t have frizz, you don’t have volume.

The first mistake I made when I tried out the shampoo was to take the normal amount of shampoo (that I always use), next time I won’t make this mistake again, I need half of JOHN FRIEDA’S SHAMPOO (maybe even only a third), because I had more shampoo in my head than I could use.

The second mistake I made was thinking, OK if I use half the shampoo, I will then use half the conditioner I normally use. So I used less, but again I had more conditioner than hair. Conclution: with JOHN FRIEDA hair products YOU SAVE, BECAUSE YOU USE ALLOT LESS.

So after I washed my hair I put on the FRIZZ EASE and again trying my best to show that this product is like all the others, I did not put on any mouse or curl booster that will let my hair look better, I will use only the JOHN FRIEDA products and for the best test yet, I will dry my hair with a diffuser.

Again – WOW – AMAZING – I wish you were here to feel this!!! My hair looks great, even the curls are better and more defined and my hair feels soft like silk, light as a feather and bouncy (like the first day when you step out of a hair saloon)

I LOVE JOHN FRIEDA HAIR PRODUCTS AND WILL BE ADDICTED FOR LIFE!! (and I am not saying this because I got the products for free, it is true)

But when doing a review, one have to ask the question to give the readers a full review – “what is the downside?”
Well, sorry for those skeptics out there, there isn’t any, just the fact that I did not receive these products before I cut my hair, otherwise I would not have done it.
