I tend to battle with my hair as I have really fine hair that breaks easily when styling, which is why I was ecstatic to be chosen to review John Frieda hair products (thank you Beauty Bulletin and John Frieda), and I couldn't have been happier with the selection they chose for me, perfectly fitted to my profile! I received the Full Repair Shampoo, Conditioner and Protecting Root Lift Foam. Upon collection I opened my package and the smell that came out of there already had me super excited to try out the products. John Frieda Full Repair Shampoo and Conditioner One thing that stood out to me was the packaging of these products. Instead of bottles it comes in tubes, brilliant! The grip whilst in the bath/shower is so much better than the bottled products, and the fact that it stands with the lid at the base means one no longer has to squeeze and shake those bottles to get the product out. With both the shampoo and conditioner I found only little of each was needed to leave my hair looking clean, feeling soft, and smelling amazing! John Frieda Full Repair Protecting Root Lift Foam This product was the selling point for me. Usually these products tend to leave my hair somewhat sticky at the roots and looking dull. After applying this product and blow-drying I found that my hair had amazing body, kept its shine and actually felt clean, and best if all my hair was protected during drying! I usually buy hair products hoping that they leave my hair feeling as if I have just left the salon, and have never been completely satisfied. The result is usually my hair is left feeling both dry and crispy at the tips, or is too rich for my hair that it makes it fall flat and oils out quickly. But with this range my hair feels great and even the tips feel healthy. John Frieda products can be found at Clicks stores, and cost little more than our general hair care products, but this is made up for by the fact that very little of the product is needed for application.

The first thing that struck me about these products was the smell - gloriously fruity, fresh and luxurious, as though you've just stepped out of the iconic London salon in person!
I've been using this range for about 3 weeks now and, after some initial trial and error, I believe I've found the winning formula. During my first wash, I (over-excitedly) used all three of these products in one go - shampoo, conditioner, followed by deep conditioner.
Not the best plan. This combination left my hair feeling weighed down and heavy. On the next attempt, I switched things up - I started with my trusty old Mane 'n Tail shampoo (my go-to hair staple) and then John Frieda Full Repair Deep Conditioner. The result was amazing - weightless, bouncy hair full of life and vitality.
For the next wash, I used Pantene clarifying shampoo and then this morning, tried out just the Full Repair shampoo and conditioner, and... lo and behold, my hair is feeling silky, luxurious and restored. True to its promise, my strands feel smoother from root to tip and less tangled when wet. I've also noticed less hair fall and breakage which, coming from someone who is addicted to her flat-iron, is a blessing.
My advice would be to work the Full Repair range into your usual haircare regime. I won't be giving up my Mane 'n Tail just yet, but I'm treating my luxurious John Frieda goodies as a special treat - a luxury spa day for my hair, if you will. Thanks Beauty Bulletin and John Frieda!
