Garnier Pure SOS Anti-blemish Spot Pen

Now that I'm no longer eligible to be using Young Solution I decided to go for the big girl counterpart in Garnier. This spot treatment is just as amazing and works like a charm but like young solution it's harsh on sensitive skins. And must be used constantly to dry out the spot !! I don't have acne but I do get spots on the odd occasion and this helps diminish their appearance. The product itself comes in a nifty tube which could get confused with lipgloss because it's small enough to carry with you wherever you go.

Acne is one of the problems I have, and it makes me very insecure about my skin, so I went to foschini and the skin care consultant suggestedbthat I buy this anti-blemish spot pen. I applied it onto the spots directly. It burned my skin and it was so painful and caused me a lot of discomfort. I think my skin is too sensitive for this product. What I can say is that even thought it burned , it did reduce the size of the pimples. So it does work really well, it's just that it's too strong for my skin.

I got it in packs that where on promotion with the rest of my garnier products and i used it for my husband who gets alot of pimples and he said it works well for him.i have tried it a few times and achieved good results so it it a good product to have if a pimple needs to be reduced.

I am sold on Garnier products as they are great buys for the typical market. This product does do wonders to bring down inflammation and redness around a spot. The spot is not quite gone in 12 hours but it does dramatically reduce the size of the spot and speeds up drying and healing.

A friend let me use hers after a long flight and my skin broke out a little beacon on my cheek...ok, not so little....and I didn't have anything on me to fix it and my only solution would of been leave it or toothpaste! Luckily my friend had a tube of this little miracle in her bag to use. It worked a charm - didn't disappear but reduced enough for concealer to do the job the next morning.

I used to suffer badly with acne and was always looking for something that was quick and effective, but something I could also put makeup over. This product was exactly that, worked practically overnight, and if I'm careful I can put makeup over it as well so that the spot wasn't so obvious.

HOWEVER, it's best to use on only one single spot at a time - I had a little patch of blemishes and tried it on the patch of skin rather than on the separate spots and it left a red mark on my skin there and the skin started flaking - it's very strong! So make sure that you only use a teeny tiny bit on the spot itself!! Best used at night when you've done your usual cleansing routine and left on over night..

I love this product, it comes in a little tube which can fit in handbags and cosmetic bags for emergency treatments. It's a light gel which doesn't smell bad at all, all you need to do is apply a small amount to any blemish and within 12 hours the gel will calm the skin and reduce the blemishes leaving skin feeling pain free and with no swelling or redness:) I would advice everyone to keep one of these for emergency uses!
