I have to admit at first I was sceptical about this range but then I got around to liking it because I went on to understand that activated charcoal is known to help with drawing out dirt and toxins and can also draw out oil from your skin. This means that less oil is built up and your skin can perform better at combating breakouts. Another thing is that activated charcoal creates a mattified effect tighten pores therefore reducing acne

So after 2 weeks of using it I began to see great changes like my blemishes reducing, the was no more waking up to a sore face because of inflamed acne. And the acne scars left from my recent acne breakout have started fading away. My favourite product has to be the wash because you can use it in three ways which either is as a scrub, wash or masks. The serum has helped me fade away my acne scars and therefore leaving me with smoother and more even-looking skin. The cream leaves my face mattifyed. One more thing I love that these products have niacinamide which is a key ingredient to combating blemishes.

I definitely will be repurchasing these products again because I believe they are going to completely change my skin if I continue to use them strictly and I definitely will be recommending them non stop.

These products work very well together. I was able to see a noticeable difference in my skin from the time I started using the range. I struggle with Oily acne prone skin with acne scars, hyperpigmentation and a lot of blemishes. The Garnier pure active Charcoal range is the best , very gently on the skin and gives quick results.

The cleanser made my skin clean and clear , pores unclogged, my skin is so smooth and my sebum have reduced a lot as a person with a very oily skin.
The daily mattifying air cream keeps me oil free all day and hydrate my skin, reduced my post acne marks also and I love it because it doesn’t leave any residue and it absorbs quickly into my skin, it is made of no oils which is great for me as I have oily skin and it mattifies my skin.
The AHA+BHA with charcoal anti blemish serum is my favourite it absorbs fast and leave no residue, skin is smooth and my pimples , blackheads and pores have reduced a lot . It also reduced my dark marks and blemishes. My skin texture is refined and good looking glowing skin .

I have seen a some fading on my blemishes and dark marks. I would say though that the scrub/wash/mask and the serum are not for everyday use especially for those with sensitive skin. I cap it at 2-3 times a week because using it everyday for 7 days gave me new breakouts.

I have been loving the air cream. It does mattify the skin but the down side is the peeling when incorporated with a sunscreen after.

I would recommend to others but use with caution because skins are not the same!

Slight fading in my dark marks in just 3 weeks

I had a fairly good experience with Garnier. I loved the charcoal wash, scrub and mask, I would use it up to twice a week to avoid the skin sensitivity that I’ve been experiencing.

I love the charcoal serum as well, I would reduce the use to 3 times a week as well. And I would omit the matte air cream completely and swop it out for a more hydrating face cream within the Garnier range.


One thing I did not enjoy about this range is how it would peel off when I use SPF , I would see black residue on my clothes and on my fingers whenever I would touch my face. I would continue to use this range in future while incorporating more hydrating products. And I would use these products at night to avoid the peeling issue.

When I started using the three products, I was experiencing my monthly breakout. Within 5 days the pimples had faded, and I started focusing on seeing less blemishes. The products indeed mattified my skin without creating a discomfort or a dry feeling, as the products claimed, they definitely mattify the skin whilst also moisturizing it. From all three products I started obsessing over the serum, it instantly mattified my skin with one application and there was no black cast, it totally gets absorbed by the skin and is very light weight on my skin.

All three products are light and don't feel heavy on the skin. Even the mask would dry out but not create a discomfort after wash or when being used as a scrub. Usually, my cheek area is super sensitive to scrubs, but with the Garnier 3-in-1 wash being used as a scrub, I never experienced any sensitive reaction. I have slowly drawn away from using make-up daily because my skin is clearing up gradually and I have no pimples that require me to hide them.

I will definitely be at my nearest drug store to buy more of the Garnier Charcoal Range products. I believe they can do more than what they've already done. And I have even introduced my mother and Aunt to the Garnier charcoal range too.
