Can be used twice a day as stated on the bottle but I used it only in the evenings (Im sure it would be effective used as a once a week scrub as well). As with the Deep pore unclogging wash it also contains 2% salicylic acid. It is mild enough to use on my skin without leaving it red and agitated. My skin has been feeling really smooth, however I haven’t noticed a big reduction in blackheads overall or of fading marks but maybe with continued use ill see a difference.
