It's got a lovely scent, definitely mattifies the skin but DOES leave a white cast sometimes if you overdo it. Contains salicylic acid which is good for acne-prone skin. It does absolutely nothing for dark marks and I would not recommend it for that purpose. As a nice light cheap moisturizer, it works in a pinch but not a good skincare investment overall.

This vanishing cream doesn't really work for me. I have an oily T-zone and am prone to acne. I bought this to try and control the oiliness on my face and while I don't need to blot my face as often as I did before I still have to blot it at least two or three times during the day. My face is oily when I wake up in the mornings too. It also leaves a residue, not a visible one, but it makes your skin feel almost sticky but it's okay if you apply less. I wanted something that leaves my skin feeling clean and has great oil control. I chose Garnier because it has less nasty products. But sadly it's just not for me.

I just love Garnier products and this one is just great. If you have a problems with oily skin, blemishes or like me T-zone this is for you. The matifying clay ingredient absorbs the oil leaving your skin clear and shine free. It's great because it does not leave your face feeling tight or with white residue, all it does is leave your face feeling fresh and smooth all day.

Definitely a great product to control oil and even out imperfections. Only do not like the white residue you get if you dont rub it in fast enough before it dries.

Could this product be anymore amazing? It makes imperfections vanish and make skin well controlled so theirs no oil, blemishes or imperfections. I've used this product for over 3 months and I've noticed a HUGE difference in my appearance. Plus this product is really amazing and completely inexpensive.

I used the vanishing cream every day for a month and could see the difference with my marks. It has a fresh smell and does not leave any white cream residue as it is easily absorbed into the skin. Great for oily skin.

It definitely lives up to its name to its claim to mattify skin. You can instantly feel the mattifying effect of the clay as you apply it to your face. My skin was left virtually oil free for the entire day which I was impressed with, the only bit of oil that I experienced at the end of the day was small oil beads on my nose. It reminds me of a sponge in the way it works as it absorbs any oil from surfacing but at the same time doesn’t give your skin a tight uncomfortable feel. I haven’t got very oily skin but I can imagine that for someone that does, this would work perfectly for them. My only complaint about this product is the smell, it has an earthly clay smell about it which doesn’t appeal to me, but once applied after a few minutes, you don’t notice the smell at all.
