I have not used home dyes in many years and have been a loyal salon girl for some time now, but when the chance came to try my hand at DIY colour I jumped at the opportunity.
With the cost of living ever increasing (the rise in petrol and electricity costs to name a few), what better way to spoil yourself without the guilt? Home dyes are a much more purse pleasing alternative that will definitely save you money and time! “Why Go Unnoticed?” with Garnier Nutrisse Ultra Colour!
Firstly, I’m a bit of a nerd when it comes to following instructions but it is definitely worth the effort and attention as the results will always be great. The box instructions are simple and to the point.
Secondly it always helps to have a spare set of hands to help with the hard to reach bits or just to make you a steamy cup of tea while you wait for the product to set ? (not to say it’s not achievable on your own, but a friend, mom, sister or even hubby or boyfriend for that matter are a huge help!)
Initially I was worried there would not be enough product as I have thick long hair, but was pleased to find that there was plenty to go around ensuring full even coverage.
Interestingly, and quite a nice surprise was the fact that the product had a really pleasant smell. Usually hair dyes have an overpowering smell of ammonia which was definitely not present in the Garnier Nutrisse Ultra Colour pack.
One of the last steps in the process involves the new conditioner which is easily one of the best little bottles of hair conditioning liquid ever! My hair is so amazingly soft and silky and even had a girl come up to me in a shop asking to feel my hair! (Not in a weird way! Simply because it looked so stunning!)
This is a product I would highly recommend and definitely use again.
True to the “Ultra dazzling” and “ silky, shiny hair” logo on the box!
Thanks to the Beauty Bulletin Team for the opportunity!
xoxo
