It's no secret that I love Freeman products. They are bright, fun, yummy and very effective! A few years back when they were first stocked at dis-chem I used to use the grapefruit and apple sugar scrubs. They were the only thing that worked on winter skin and those tiny little bumps you sometimes get.
Their new sugar scrub has different packaging and a new flavour, pomegranate, but the consistency and effectiveness of this scrub is still exactly the same. And this scrub isn't just sugar with some perfume in it. It has some great ingredients as well, like safflower seed oil, apricot kernel oil, sweet almond oil, sesame seed oil and pomegranate extract.
This scrub does a thorough job of removing dead skin. It's effective without being harsh. It has a wonderful warm sensation on the skin and the sugar melts into your skin, so you need to rub it quickly. It leaves the bathroom and your skin smelling absolutely delicious and fresh.
I personally feel this scrub is better than any body shop scrub I've tried. My skin is like silk after using this. It's the perfect prep for self tan and keeps elbows and knees smooth and soft. The only problem I have with this scrub is that I might need a new tube soon ;) And I also wish it came in a few different 'flavours'.
