Avon CC cream in ivory is a perfect match for my skin tone . The product is not greasy at all and provides the light coverage o need for daily wear. And best of all it has an spf of 50!!! Which means I don't have to worry about layering sunscreen before! It comes in a purse size tube which is very convenient as well. Only need a pea sized amount of the product so it lasts very long too!
Today someone introduced me to the Avon Ideal Flawless CC Cream, I must admit that at first I thought "oh well another BB cream!"...But as sceptical as I was at first I started to like it more and more as the day went by. It has a nice fresh, slick packaging and is also small enough to fit into any purse without taking up too much space. The best part about this cream is that it is kind to the skin. It is easy to apply and is as easily absorbed. It has a nice light feel to it, like a normal moisturizer, with a somewhat mattifying effect but without that tight feeling most mattifying creams leave you with. When you find the right shade for your skin tone, it blends wonderfully and doesn't have a strong smell to it. I must add that the other thing I love about this cream is that it gives your skin a nice glorious, subtle, shimmery glow in the sun and also offers a SPF of 50 to ensure that your skin is not only flawless but protected as well. It surely seems like it will be a worthwhile addition to my beauty routine. Its still early days but I'm sold on it, none the less. I hope you too will have positive results with this beauty.
I've reviewed this product before but that was just early days and I couldn't resist another review! After using this for a while I have noticed a vast improvement in my overall skin tone. Since purchasing this not a day has gone by that I haven't used it . On its own it doesn't give me enough coverage as a foundation would but what it does for my skin is unbelievable. My skin glows with radiance and the high spf which intially I thought would make my skin oily does nothing of the sort. Using foundation over this is the best part , my foundation glides on and I use much less as before and my skin is left looking flawless the entire day.My shade is nude, I was sceptical when I was told that this is my shade because its so light but it blends it and matches my skin perfectly. A huge winner from Avon..
Firstly I need to apologise PROFUSELY for the delay in submitting my review, I have been out of the country for some time and upon my return, I had to deal with a family crisis, which caused the delay.
This is my first experience with a Colour corrector cream and I have to admit to being quite pleasantly surprised, I tend to go abit pink on my cheeks and nose and this solved that problem really well. It also took care of the slight pigmentation I have on my cheeks.
I like the pleasant smell of this product and the DEFINITE plus for me was the SPF of 50!
Even though I chose the colour - SHELL, I thought it may be a bit too light for my complexion, however I could carry it off, I would opt for a shade darker in the future.
I like the light to medium coverage as I'm not a fan of a very heavy foundation or make up.
I like alot of the AVON products and would definitely use this product in the future.
Thank you for the opportunity to review this product
There is a big change in my skin tone since I started using Avon flawless cc cream!, I also like the fact that it is lighter and my face does not look like that of a clown!
I have told all my friends and relatives to try it!
My easy 3 step guide to getting the polished look quickly..
**Step 1: Start off with a fresh, clean canvas.
I washed my face and used a toner before taking the pic
**Step 2: Apply the CC cream directly onto the skin.
I squirted a generous amount ( for the purposes of this pic- I usually don’t use a lot) onto my finger, applied five dots (forehead, nose, chin, right cheek, left cheek) of it onto my face and then rubbed onto my face evenly in order to smooth it out.
An applicator can be used, like a makeup brush or sponge, but I prefer my finger to be able to blend in and smooth out the liquid easier.
I love the fact that it’s easy to apply and not heavy because I prefer a natural look and the Avon CC Cream is quite light and translucent. I would prefer a bit more colour and coverage for the few marks that I have on my skin, so I just added more on those spots, left it for a few seconds, then dabbed it in to not be so stark.
Another reason why I scored the ‘quality field’ on this moisturiser so high is because it contains a high SPF in it. A lot of the other daily moisturising creams contain an SPF 30 sunblock in. As I am darker skinned and burn quicker- I appreciate the SPF 50 in this product. I tried to research if the sunblock is oil or gel based because after the application of the cream, my skin seems a bit too shiny for my liking. I now use this with a bit of lose powder over just for a more settled look.
**Step 3: Finish off with the look with mascara, eye liner and gloss.
Use some of your favourite jet liner (liquid liner), mascara, lipstick and lip gloss to finish off the look. I used my Avon Mega Effects Mascara, Ultra Colour Absolute Lipstick (Pure Orchid) and Ultra Glazewear Absolute Lipgloss (Creamy Coral) over to complete my quick and easy 3 steps to getting the pretty polished look.

I received an Avon Ideal Flawless CC Color Corrector Cream in Light-Medium from Beauty Bulletin to review.
The product promises a lightweight formula which will conceal flaws and act as a high-performance nutrient-packed serum which will lead to more noticeable radiance. The consistency of the product is thin and almost runny which absorbs easily into the skin. I didn't notice any coverage at all but that might just be that I needed a darker shade.
When I put the cream onto my face it felt as though I was putting oil onto my skin. I already have a fairly oily T-Zone and this cream didn't seem to control that at all and in fact, worsened it! I also found that I ended up with a breakout after using it for 3 days and then I just couldnt bring myself to carry on using it.
If you are prone to dryer skin then yes, this product might be for you but I honestly feel that its a no-go if you are more prone towards oilyness.
So I have tried the Avon CC cream for about 3 weeks now. It glides on smooth and creamy and feels luxurious. I have an oily skin so I need to cover over with a matifying foundation or some pressed powder to set it. What I love is that it contains SPF 50 so I will continue to use it going into summer especially around my eye area for correcting those dark rings and sun protection. It did even out my skin colour although next time I will use one colour shade darker. I used natural beige. It did lighten one significant dark spot ever so slightly over this time period although I had to apply a number of layers to make it totally disappear. It claims visible results in 2 weeks.
Happy user all around and still using it.

I received the new Avon CC cream a couple of weeks ago from the lovely ladies over at Beauty Bulletin to review and have been using it on and off over the past two or three weeks. I think this is only the second CC cream I have actually tried, the first being the Chanel which was nice with light to medium coverage but that only comes out in one shade which only worked for me in the winter.
The Avon CC cream has a range of 9 shades ranging from Ivory which is the lightest shade to Sable which is the darkest. I received Natural beige which is the darkest of the 4 light shades and was a pretty good match for my skin. It has a SPF of 50 which is pretty high for any CC cream and I've only ever used it in the day so I cant vouch for the effects of flash photography. It claims to have light to medium buildable coverage for dark spots and uneven skin tone. It contains liquorice and Vitamin C to improve dullness and skin tone.
I would describe this CC cream as a tinted moisturizer because it had no coverage effects at all on me. I wore it on days I wanted a minimal no makeup day but still wanted a even skin tone which it does give. If you need coverage for problem areas your going to have to use a concealer of some sort but if your just looking for a light veil of even skin tone then this CC cream would be perfect. I basically just used it as a sun screen that added a touch of colour which is always beneficial. On its own it lasted about 3 to 4 hours on my skin and with a primer I got about another hours wear out of it. If your ok with skin that looks glowy then this would be nice but if you have oily skin then this will not work for you at all as it accentuates oily areas. I found that trying to build it just added to the oil so I would not recommend this. Really good product for minimal no makeup makeup.
This is a great cream, both health wise, due to it's SPF 50, and is also ideal if you are going for a natural look with makeup on. I use this cream on it's own as foundation and it works wonders. I thoroughly enjoy the light feel of the cream and its sun protection without the greasy feel of sun cream on your face. It also last for ages as you need only minimal amounts of cream for the desired results. Avon CC cream is great and I would definitely recommend it to everyone!
AVON CC Cream is number 1 its perfect to use and easy as 1,2,3 it covers up my blemishes and dark spots and evens out my uneven skin tone i really got to add anew product to my cosmetic draw cos i am so hooked on AVON CC Cream i cant leave home without it.
Being an avid fan of the BB Cream, I was very expectant to try the Avon CC Cream,I was eager to know how much better it could be than the BB Cream am currently using. Not too impressed with the tube,it just looks so small and with the range of shades available I did expect foundation-like kind of coverage. My shade of choice was not too disappointing though I feel I could go a shade darker.Coverage was medium which is welcome for days when I don't feel like full make- up although I still feel BB Cream fairs better. Also, I have combination skin and after a few hours my skin looked greasy so I guess the mattifying qualities of the CC Cream are a bit behind.Worn on its worn I didn't like it, but under powder/foundation it was a good primer.Am not totally sold out to the product but would give it a chance especially because of the SPF and with time am sure it would deliver on the colour correcting.
The packaging is pretty simple - black with white print, with 2 silver C’s on the tube, but I liked the look of it. It has understated elegance. It comes in a very convenient tube (30ml) that fits comfortably in even small handbags. It dispenses just the right amount of product with each squeeze and a little goes a long way - take care! You don't want to use too much! It has an SPF of 50, which is perfect for our SA weather, however, I wouldn't want to wear it in Summer as I'm afraid it would simply melt off once heated up. It is VERY creamy.
This is my first experience with a CC cream, which I received from the lovely ladies at Beauty Bulletin. How on earth they got my colour (Natural Beige) just right, only they know – it blended perfectly!
My first impression was that it was a bit oily and took a while to blend into my skin. Also, it started to flake off in bits while I was applying it, which was not nice at all. I thought about that and realised that perhaps I should try applying it without using moisturizer first. This did the trick! It went on a lot better and there was no “crumbling” or flakes in my sink.
The coverage of the CC cream is definitely NOT a foundation, so if that’s what you need, then this is not for you. However, if you want a light coverage and a more even skin tone, then I would recommend this product wholeheartedly.
I found that it had fine (tiny) bits of glitter (more like shimmer) which was part of the reason that it illuminates your skin so well. I have a lot of surface veins and although I could still see them, they appeared lighter after applying the AVON CC cream. The texture on my skin, was silky, not oily at all. I blended it with my fingers as I think it wouldn’t blend as nice with a brush. It has a soft, clean fragrance that does not irritate, but simply evaporates after a while.
I can recommend it for sensitive skin like mine, as I didn’t have any adverse effects afterwards. I guess you could set it with pressed powder, but you’d lose the illuminating effect which is probably what was intended with the cream in the first place. So, no, I wouldn’t use a powder over it.
This CC cream is perfect for those who don’t want a heavy mask or obvious coverage, but a light cover just to smooth out the more obvious “flaws”. It did soften the redness of my chin quite a bit, but you do need to touch it up now and again during the day if, like me, you tend to touch your face a lot.
Would I buy it? Hmmm I don’t think so because I like the coverage of a foundation that doesn’t budge during the day, but it’s perfect for daytime use if you’re not the makeup type of gal and go more for the natural look. It will give you the “natural look” without much effort.
I have included pics, but the quality of the camera is so poor, I’m not sure they’re worth placing. On the one pic, I just did my cheek and chin on the one half of my face so that you could see the contrast. The blob on my hand shows how it looks before blending. The rest of my hand already had the product applied, which blended perfectly. So, it can be a bit misleading when it comes out of the tube.
Thanks for this opportunity BB ladies, you’re the best!
I was one of the lucky ladies to be chosen to review the new Avon CC Cream. I collected my parcel from the post office, very excited just to rip the package open and give this new product a test. On arriving home i was very nimble to get my face washed and moisturized and ready to try out my Avon CC Cream. I opened the tube of CC Cream and began to squeeze a small amount out into the palm of my hand. Rubbing my hands together, then rubbing my CC Cream evenly all over my face. Once i had blended my Cc Cream nicely into my face I looked up into my mirrow. Suddenly I let out an unexpected scream!! I looked like a ghost!! The shade I received was Nude.... This was way too light for me. I was not overjoyed about that, but decided to still carry out the testing of this product. It does go on very smoothly, it covers all imperfections where needed and does last the whole day ( I know this as i left my Nude CC Cream on the whole day - but stayed at home - aka - Looked like a ghost ). I will purchase another CC Cream from Avon but will go for a more darker shade. I would reccomend this product to family and friends.

Hi everyone,
Today I will be reviewing Avon Ideal Flawless Colour Corrector Cream in soft honey. So this has been my first experience using a cc cream and I must say it absolutely great. I have a combination skin type and need to drink a lot of water especially during winter as I find that my skin dries out and the areas that are not oily (i.e. cheeks, chin, forehead). Over and above this, I also have fair skin, this means that when I don’t wear a blush or some base then I literally look like the walking dead, my skin looks pale and I look like I haven’t slept in forever.
Needless to say the slight tint that the cc cream provides, combined with the moisturizing SPF 50 gives me a subtle bronzy glow which lasts for about +-8 hours which is long enough to make it through a working day. The cream has a lightweight feel to it, once applied you can feel it on your skin and after a few minutes you forget completely that you have applied a cream. Unlike some cc creams Avon’s Ideal Flawless CC Cream has pleasant smell that is not overpowering once applied. Being fair of complexion I have some red capillaries on my face (due to showering with very hot water and stepping into the cold immediately after) which the cc cream easily hides as well as the light brown blemishes dues to acne scarring. I like the fact that the cream benefits me two fold covering my skin’s flaws as well as providing UV protection (ladies, remember that UV rays are present during the day even when there is cloud cover and no sun).
Overall, I am quite pleased with the overall results of the cc cream and would recommend it to anybody who wants some slight cover of a base combined with the protection of a SPF 50 from harmful UV rays. I would also recommend this product to teenagers who are first timers to base/concealers as it is a good starter product without looking too mature for your age and feeling like the makeup is being “caked” on.
That’s it from me, hope you found this review informative.
Well, I am not going to lie. I only received my parcel today. I have not yet tried the CC cream, but it was on my AVON shopping list. So after opening my parcel and receiving the CC cream,I was on top of the moon. If all the benefits it promises delivers I am surely going to be impressed. I love all my AVON products because it usually delivers on your needs and desires.
Is the CC Cream really as good as it claims to be?

Apologies for the late review, however my last day for the two week challenge is today.
As a regular Avon customer I was overly excited when I received the Ideal Flawless CC Cream! And as most of the time, Avon definitely lived up to its' quality and standard.
Just like a coin with two sides, this product has its pros and cons.
The Ideal Flawless CC Cream, provides a medium coverage with abit of shimmer and the best part is the SPF 50! Coverage + Protection= Bonus! The product basically allows for less products to be applied, which is great!
The ideal flawless CC Cream claims to lighten dark spots within two weeks. in the first week of using the product, not much could be seen and the product absorbed quite nicely into the skin.
However, the change came in week 2, while my dark spots have lightened, my chin and forehead has broken out with many pimples! So while I achieved what the product claims, it has also created more dark spots unfortunately.
One last issue with the CC Cream, is that the cream is of a much lighter colour, therefore you may not even achieve a medium coverage with product. Yet this can be solved by buying 1 colour darker.
Now it’s up to each individual to decide on purchasing the product or not.
It definitely gets thumbs up from me for:
Coverage
Light weight and no 'make-up build up'
Great SPF 50 protection
Not ridiculously expensive
Thank you to Beauty Bulletin and Avon for the chance to review this product.
Impressed! I'm usually a skeptic when it comes to foundations/concealers because my skin tends to let me down at important times. I have combination skin so this product worked well for my skin. I don't usually like wearing foundation, but I enjoyed using this product as it was natural looking.
Although I didn't use a moisturiser with it, I wouldn't advise a person who has dry skin to use this product. It has a powdery feel once applied.
But This worked to my advantage as I didn't need to layer.
Meaning, as a working mum, always on the go, I didn't need to use a moisturiser before or translucent powder after, to cover up shiny patches. And the other good thing is that my skin looked sort of radiant. Someone commented that I have a doll's complexion-I'm assuming she meant porcelain. So that was a positive comment that I picked up.
What I noticed yesterday, is that the pimple scars on my chin has faded. And 2 pimples that were beginning to erupt did not turn red or leave a scar. So this product has some magic.
Overall, I loved using this product, it worked for me and I would continue using it. For the price, well worth it!
So my quest for flawless skin continues. This time with a product that in my books has the makings of an ideal skin treatment – having both cosmetic AND restorative qualities. Avon’s CC Color Corrector cream. This recently introduced ‘multi-tasking miracle’ works like this – with its light weight formula, it contains color correcting pigments to conceal spots and blemishes WHILE fading existing pigmentation such as the unsightly acne spots in my chin area that just - well, will not allow me to be great.
Adored the cream’s light, beachy, ultra-feminine fragrance and between that and how perfectly the shade I selected blended with my skin tone– I couldn’t wait to get cracking with the cream.
Now I’m a cover girl. I love my coverage. I NEED my coverage. The texture of the cream and how easily it absorbed was by far not too shabby for a cream. However it did very little to conceal my acne spots, which admittedly is my primary concern and therefore the area I wanted to tackle most when using this cream. The results I wanted to see were around the correcting bit, so I could see a reduction on the appearance of my acne spots.
Aesthetically, I found it to have a warm sensation on my skin after application that lingered on a while after application – I figured this was owed to the correcting element of the cream. Now I’m usually extremely pedantic when it comes to sensations on my skin following a product application I know many people like to ‘feel’ things for them to believe they’re truly working but I’m one of those that like to see results as opposed to feeling them. Besides heat on skin normally means darkening and as a dark skinned person this is never an ideal.
But having used the CC cream for 3 weeks full now nothing adverse has resulted from it except that I’ve noted, pleasantly so, that the newer acne spots on my forehead seemed to have faded a great deal. My main focus now is to see the same on the much older marks around my chin area. I’m currently enjoying the CC cream for daytime coverage and as a base moisturizer under my full cover foundation. I had to pat myself on the back when I made this discovery.
Overall a fantastic product given its multi-tasking formula. Retailing for R159 but currently on sale for R84.95, don’t just take my word for it contact your Avon Rep and try it for yourself.

Avon Ideal Flawless Colour Corrector Cream SPF50 is a lightweight multi-tasking formula with colour correcting pigments which conceal flaws immediately and acts as a nutrient packed serum to fade the look of pigmentation and dark spots over time. This product claims to begin to fade the appearance of dark spots in just 2weeks. It also claims to do the 3 things below:
1. Correct: - Improves look of dullness, dark circles and redness.
2. Protect: - Fights free radicals and provides UVA/UVB SPF50 protection.
3. Perfect: - Helps fade the look of pigmentation.
I was really excited when I was chosen to do the Avon Ideal Flawless CC Colour Corrector cream review but at the same time, worried about the shade I might get. I was pleasantly surprised when the Nutmeg shade I received matched my skin perfectly. The CC cream comes in a compact 30ml black tube and has a slight thin texture which is not runny and this enables it to absorb and blend easily into the skin. The CC cream is lightweight and gives a natural looking matte finish. It is non-sticky and feels very comfortable on the skin. On me, it provided a medium coverage which is perfect for everyday use. It evened out my skin tone – I mean it made my skin look flawless! I am yet to notice the fading of any dark marks and hopefully, I will see the expected results with continued use. Whenever I applied the CC cream, I set it with powder to prevent transfer and increase its longevity. The SPF50 is a major plus!! This CC cream did not break out my skin and not once did my skin look oily throughout the day.
The only downside to this product might be the price. The regular price is R159.95 for 30ml but you can get it on special at the moment for R84.95, a saving of 45%.
After using a BB Cream from a leading cosmetic company for a few months now, I thought there was no way that someone could come up with a product to even closely match it. I believed that the BB cream was the mother of all creams, offering everything that we "non-heavy-makeup" girls preferred. When I got the sample from Beauty Bulletin, first I was pleased that the Sable shade I had indicated actually matched my skin tone 100%! And then a bonus was the SPF50, which I had never seen anywhere, with any cream. That was a definite plus for me.
On application, the cream gave me an instant glow and boost, though I did find it to be slighly on the oily side, especially on the T-Panel (nothing a stroke of pressed powder could not fix). I have uneven skin, and a few small marks from a bad habit of squeezing pimples. This cream offered not only coverage, but I realized after 2 weeks that the marks were looking much lighter, and my skin tone was getting more even.
The cream also seemed to be ideal for use at night - despite the SPF. I had a few functions to attend, and needed some perfect coverage, and I thought why not? I found that this lasted the entire night, perfect under my colours (eye-shadow and blush), although some of it did rub off on my top as it's not 100% colour-stay.
My skin is definitely looking healthier, more radiant and has that glow since I started using this CCC cream. It's an amazing product that has improved my complexion, saves time on application, and is going to be a regular with my Avon orders.
First of all thank you bb for including me in the Avon review Team. I was ecstatic when I found out as iv never been part of a review club beforem
When it comes to my skin I have been suffering with breakouts and acne for over 8 months now.. I don't know what caused it. It has left scars in my face that really bother me a lot.
Because of this I have been so scared to try our new products on my face as it has become over sensitive and I by all means try to avoid breakouts.
Being part of a face cream product review did raise the question, will this hurt my skin.. But those doubts quickly faded because Avon is a brand I completely trust and has never disappointed me before.
Promises made By Avon CC cream:
1. Improve look of dark circles, dullness and redness
2. Fights free radicals and provides SPF 50 sun protection
3. Helps fade look of pigmentation
4. Instant coverage of flaws
5. Begins to fade dark spots in 2 weeks
MY EXPERIENCE
the color I chose closest to my skin tone was Medium Beige. I have been using the cream for a while and once again Avon has not disappointed me.
The cream is easy to apply, and is concentrated and I don't need a lot of it so even though it is small it will last a while.
The cream does not completely cover the marks on my face but it does lighten them by about 2-3 shades lighter which is amazing for me.
The dark circles under my eyes are almost completely unseen which is a major confidence boost for me.. I'm not so afraid to let people to close to me now.
I have not seen the marks fade yet but the coverage is wonderful for me who really needs it, and what I love most about the cream is that I never broke out into pimples so it never clogged my pores and is suitable for my sensitive skin.
The look is natural and not overdone as a lot of foundations tend to do. My face looks and feels wonderful with a natural glow to it.
It has SPF50 sun protection and does not feel one bit like sunscreen which is completely amazing. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!
I have added this cream to my daily facial routine as I am still trusting and testing to see whether the marks fade away completely so I will do a follow up review and add a before and after pic if I'm brave enough.
Another great thing I have noticed is that my skin feels so much smoother and softer since starting.
With the Avon CC cream you don't need to use foundation or other coverage as it works on its own to provide a flawless finish, but it can be used as a primer and works just as well with other make up.
Iv also used it on my lips as well and make up stays on even longer with Avon CC cream.
I would recommend this product to anyone who has bad marks on their skin and wants the confidence of near flawless skin once again.
I can truly say that this is a MULTI TASKING MIRACLE!!!!!
Avon is HIGH Quality, HIGH Value, HIGH Glam and HIGH Delivery Without the HIGH Price-tag
BB creams have long been a firm favorite of mine. When I first saw the new cream on the block (being CC cream) I was a bit sceptical to try it - why fix/change what is not broken, right?
Well, I've been using Avon's CC cream since receiving it in the post 3 weeks ago and I haven't looked back!
It smells absolutely devine and is a light tinted/coloured cream. And, with 9 different shades to choose from, you are bound to find your's!
I absolutely LOVE it - especially because of the high SPF (50) factor. It is also really light on your skin and it really does even out the skin tone to a perfect finish - I just apply it over my usual day cream and I'm good to go :)
It comes at a great price of only R159.95, so it's sure to fit any budget :)
I am not a make up person, infact, I hardly ever use make up. Mainly because I feel it does not feel and look natural most of the time. So I was very sceptical when asked to try the new Avon cc cream.but I must say I found it amazing. Today marks exactly 2weeks since I have started using it, and the difference is tremendous. Even people have started noticing I look brighter than ever. I call it the tripple threat because it 1) protects, 2) covers 3) corrects. It stays on my skin from the moment I apply it, and feels like I'm not wearing anything at all. All I need is a pea size amount and I'm sorted for the whole day. I even forget it's on my face. Love it. The price is worth it. Only 2 weeks and my spots caused by pimples long ago are fading significantly and my skin tone has never been better in years. My advice would be not to forget to wash your face before bed, as it might cause break outs.I absolutely love it. I'm hooked for life. Thank you Avon.
I love this product, it's a bit light for my face but instead of using it as an "all over" cover, i used it specifically on the areas of my face that needed highlighting and applied it twice to get the desired effect. I have used it all over my face and got compliments that my skin looked flawless (even though it was too light). I got away with wearing it out by wearing a scarf and applying bronzer over and the results were amazing.
I love that it's SPF 50 as we all know how unpredictable the weather is in cape town so it seems that i was always prepared for UV rays :) My skin tone has evened out and definitely gave me enough coverage after one application. I suffered from colds and flu and the grey look was definitely hidden by this Avon CC Cream. I've got dry skin so this was perfect for me, however, should you have oily skin, a finishing powder over would probably save you from looking like you just had KFC
I had a pleasure of receiving the Flawless Colour Corrector from Avon. I t something every woman should have in their hand bag. Whaty I love about it, it compactable and easy to use no need for a foundation it like a second skin. I fell in love with it from the first application as I am always on a rush I dont have the luxury of applaying the lotion, foundation and powder so with the Avon Colour Corrector it easy no need for the whole routen. Thank you so much for giving me the oppotunity of trying it.
I was fortunate to receive this little tube from BB to test, thank you BB :-)!

2) Instantly evens tone & appearance of skin.
3) Improves texture & appearance of skin over time.

5) CORRECTS by improving look of dullness, redness & dark circles.

2) The 30 ml tube is small enough to fit in your handbag.
3) The cream is light and covers fairly easily.
4) It has a pearly consistency that leaves a slight glow on my skin.
5) It immediately covered some of my break-outs (eeeuw) on my skin & I was quite surprised as it covered them better than similar products I have tried in the past.
6) It did improve the appearance of my quite dry skin & appeared to even out the tone a bit.
7) It made the application of my foundation easier.
8) With regard to the improvement of redness & appearance of dark spots in 2 weeks, the jury is still out on that one. I did not see a noticable improvement over time, but will keep using it & keep monitoring.
9) The special price of R84.95 for July is quite affordable, but I must be honest that I am not impressed with the normal price of R159.95. At that price I feel that Avon is pricing them out of the competitive market.
FINAL VERDICT:
Worth giving a try at the special price of R84.95, as it delivers on most of its promises. It is also an improvement on BB creams & even some CC creams available. The SPF50 sun protection is a big plus, as most facial products deliver only SPF 15 - 30. Would love to keep using it & monitor long-term effect.
I received my Avon CC cream 2 weeks ago, Wow I'm in love . It is really effective as a colour corrector and it makes my skin soft and smooth. for the past two weeks I have not been using foundation, that's why I say it's an amazing Cc.I have recommended it to my friends
First the amazing BB Cream and now their very own CC Cream, Well done Avon!
Adds colour, protect and perfect your skin, what more can a lady ask for! I love that it has a SPF of 50 and comes in a variety of shades. I received the medium beige CC Cream. The packaging is very attractive. Very economical and easy to use. The fragrance is light which makes it such a pleasure as I’m not one for strong scented creams. The formula is thin and runny, smooth to the touch, it should be applied sparingly so that it absorbs easily into the skin (I use my hands to apply). I love this flawless CC Colour, it helps with my dark pigmentation marks and uneven skin tone. It really is a wonderful product and I love the coverage it gives, it also wears well throughout the day. I use it without foundation. It feels light on my skin which makes it hard to believe that it has such a high SPF and it also gives my skin a great natural finish. Especially now in winter my skin is very dry and pale, it really helps to moisturize my skin and adds colour protecting it as well. I have been using the product for just over a week and already I see results. The price is very good (R84.95). I would definitely recommend others to try it and I will continue using it, no doubt about that.
Instantly evens tone, plus improves skin over time. Powerful sun protection with Broad Spectrum UVA/UVB SPF 50+. Build-able light to medium coverage. Targeted formula with licorice, vitamin C, and color-correcting pigments and pearls that improve the look of dullness, dark spots, and uneven skin tone.
I wear this without any other foundation and it looks amazing. I went a shade darker than I normally would and it worked perfect for me. I could not be happier with the look, feel, and texture :)
The cc cream did not hide any pigmentation marks on my face.
It did have an awesome soft velvety feeling and was easy to apply.
It did give my face a glowing effect.
I will use this product in summer when going to the beach, as I do not want to use a base.
I did apply after cleansing & moisturizing, then applied my regular base over that. The coverage was excellent. I did find the nude shade was to light for me.
I thank BB to allow me to try & review this product.
I must agree with all the positive reviews I've read about this CC cream as it has certainly improved my skin tone. Most of us are plagued by uneven skin tone and for me this product has really worked wonders in evening my skin out. It adds a radiance and lustre to my skin that had been missing due to the harsh climate in winter.Has a Spf50 which I find ideal ideal for our harsh sun. People have asked me about my new found glow and I've been tempted not to reveal my remedy ;) .. Definitely a winner for me :)
I’m always keen to try new products when it comes to achieving perfect, flawless looking skin. I’m prone to blemishes, dull, tried patchy looking skin and the odd pigmentation spots. So, when I’m constantly looking for the perfect products for my skin. Because my skin is bleaker during winter, I opted for the Medium Beige colour. I’m happy announce that I’m pretty pleased with Avon's Colour Corrector Cream. The first thing that got my attention was the fact that it's broad spectrum SPF50. I thoroughly believe in wearing a good sun protector every single day. Secondly, I love that this product is lightweight and can be layered on. I applied a thin layer each morning after moisturising. I then applied my primer and finally a very light layer of foundation. I found that then applying another thin layer of the Colour Corrector Cream under my eye area and on my cheek bone also doubled as a highlighter. I loved the clean smell and the texture. It's not heavy and doesn’t seem to clog my pores. Leaves my skin looking clean, clear, and gives off an even dewy look. Happiness :)
Hello everyone, I will be writing a quick review on the Avon ideal flawless CC cream. However, before that I would like to say thank you to Beauty Bulletin for sending me the Avon ideal flawless CC cream. Now Let's get started:
The Packaging
I absolutely love the packaging! The black packaging gives the product a very sophisticated look. The pop of pink colour goes well with all black packaging. The only downside I find is that the shade colour is printed at the back with white background. Just like all the information that is on the front I prefer the shade name to be in the front with same font as the bottom half of the tube.
About
A CC cream stands for colour correcting and it is basically a tinted moisturizer. The Avon CC cream states that it is lightweight multi-tasking formula with colour correcting pigments conceals flaws immediately and fades the look of pigmentation.
The Formula
The Avon CC cream formula comes in a cute travel size tube, consisting of 30ml of the product. In addition, the CC cream also has a pretty high sun protection factor (SPF) of 50. In order to find your right shade you should definitely visit a store and hold the sample colours against your jawline to find your perfect shade.
The formula consistency is really in the middle by that I mean the cream isnot to liquid or thick. It has a nice consistency, which helps the product blend in more easily. Also, the formula is buildable. So, after applying the first layer, you find yourself wanting a bit more coverage you can go ahead and apply a second layer.
The formula also has a very unique scent which is not too strong. The scent I believe is a combination of sunscreen and the cosmetic scent that makeup products have. It is a likeable scent, which after application does linger on the face. You can smell a waft of it when you are moving around and doing your daily work. However, like I said it is a lovely light scent.
The Application
I tried applying Avon CC cream with my fingers and the brush. I think using a brush is a better option than the fingers because it will give you a even, smooth coverage. Once applied on the face it does not feel like you have something on your faces fact your skin feels smooth and soft. So again it is lightweighted but of course like I said above, as you move around you will smell the scent of it here and there.
Here are the steps to applying Avon CC cream:
1) To apply CC cream I think. You will need to apply sunscreen or moisturizers. Even though there is a high SPF of 50, applying more sunscreen will not cause damage to your skin, it will further protect it. The reason for applying sunscreen or moisturizer before is because your face would be soft and moistures giving the CC cream a better finish.
*If you have tried this method please let me know the difference down below in the comments. It will help others to make a decision whether to use a moisturizer before applying a CC cream or not.*
2) You need a good brush to apply Avon CC cream. A brush that you love to use for foundation or any other face products. It does not really have to be a brush it could be a sponge, beauty blender etc. Basically anything that gives the product a nice, natural finish because that particular tool will come in handy with this CC cream as well.
The Verdict
The Avon CC cream is worth a try. The consistency of the formula is good and also buildable. Once, this is applied you will smell a scent on your face but it is not too strong. Perfect for those who prefer scented makeup products and also those who are not a fan of scented makeup products. So, the Avon CC cream carriers to all people because nothing is too extreme or too less. I have honestly not tried this product enough time to tell you if it improves the look of dullness, dark circles and redness or helps fade the look of pigmentation as the products states.
In the end, I would just like to say how a product suit someone and their opinions differ from person to person. If you genuinely want to try the Avon CC cream give it a shot maybe it will work for you better than others. Everyone skin type differs and so does peoples choices.
For those of you who are curious about the Avon CC cream the regular price of it is R159.95 each.
Once again another great product from Avon, the first thing that I noticed when using cream for a couple of days is that my face was smoother, without breakouts and not shiny at all, another bonus was that the cream has a high spf factor of 50 which means you have longer protection when outside and the product is very light on the face which means you can use it straight after a long day outside or for a touch up on your evening makeup when you dont feel like wearing something a little lighter on your skin, this a great multitasker foundation and cream in one product that will be great to toss into your handbag. The price will also make you smile at just under R90m
With this product, i wanted to take my time as i have never used an Avon product before, i was surely not dissappointed. With the dry winter sun in Durban, like anyone, my skin was looking dull. This lightly fragranced, color correcting cream gave my skin an even tone with a sun-kissed glow as well as improving texture. I was impressed with Avon's marketing tool of adding a brochure, i will be silly not to create an Avon collection with prices so affordable.
Being a fair skinned, freckly girl, I've never been to keen on using heavy foundations for fear of that weird contrast you get between your face, neck and chest. I also get sunburned fairly easy so applying heavy sunblock all through the day doesn't quite work so well when your face is full of concealer or foundation...this is exactly why this product is so amazing. It provides great cover without it looking like you caked on the foundation AND you have great sun protection built in! It's a total win WIN!
Before using Avon's CC cream my skin felt a bit dull. After using the CC cream my skin had this natural looking glow to it. With my skin feeling less dull my mood automatically improved. Another improvement I noticed is that the red marks around my nose started to get lighter and were less noticeable. With the CC cream being so light it felt as if I wasn't wearing any makeup at all. Dark marks around my eyes seem much lighter. This cream is definitely a product that I would add to my shopping list and continue to use and recommend to my friends.
I love this product because it feels like a light dusting of powder on my skin. It's not heavy like a regular foundation and provides medium coverage on the first application but it can be built up to a heavier base if necessary.
There's no overwhelming fragrance in the cream which is something I have picked up from using similar creams before.
I used it over two weeks and enjoyed the flawless finish it gave my skin. The marks left from my acne cleared up considerably and it didn't irritate or aggravate the acne already present. It's a non-oily formula but it does need a bit of powder to keep my t-zone matte for a good few hours. I would definitely suggest regular exfoliation of the skin to work with this CC Cream as it does amplify the dry patches on my face.
The colour was a teensy bit too light for my skin tone on application but it blended quite well after a few minutes. It doesn't require a lot of remover at the end of the day and is quite gentle on the skin. It's not a product that I would apply quickly as I found it streaked my skin easily and needed to be blended with a bit more care.
All in all, I would say this is a really good product that I would not only purchase again but pass the word around about too. I was impressed with the coverage and the silky feel of the product and would definitely add it to my make-up bag for a long while to come.
These days it is hard to keep up with which letter of the alphabet we’re spreading across our faces. It seems BB creams are a thing of the past and as we progress through the letters, we make our way to the all-new and improved CC Creams.
I am a sucker for Avon products so was exceptionally excited to try their new CC Cream! I have used BB creams in the past and have been impressed by the convenience of the all-in-one product!
Avon’s CC cream has some amazing claims such as helps eliminate dark spots, evens and improves skin tone.
I love the fact that it is SPF 50 coverage, simply as I am forgetful when it comes to applying sunscreen, and we cannot afford to forget, in the South African sun (even in winter!). Honestly, I found the coverage to be very poor, it gave my skin a gorgouse dewy finish – but I wasn’t confident to wear it on its own. After reading more into it, I decided to give it a try and use it as a primer followed by my usual foundation routine. As a primer, it gives my skin a stunning glow and it doesn’t flake, all while protecting my skin from the sun and making my makeup last longer. Although they say it is buildable coverage, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it, as I found it became crumby!
One thing that is definitely commendable is how it evens the skin tone over time. It is quite impressive how my dark marks lightened.
I love Avon products. Really. So obviously I was excited to be included in the review club for the CC cream, I previously enjoyed Avon's BB Cream. I like to use something constantly and consistently in order to give it a proper review, I wore this CC cream everyday these past few weeks. I have worn it on its own and as a primer under my foundation. I find it works best for me as a primer. I tend to use less foundation as it does give a small amount of coverage but it seems my make up sticks around a little longer with this underneath. In the beginning I did not notice to much of a change in my skin tone as Avon promises, it does brighten up my skin to a slightly dewy look when wearing it but it wasn't until the end of my trial did I notice that it has faded a few dark spots here and there but I can't say it has made a huge difference. I would definitely say this is a very light coverage CC cream, its not enough for me to wear on its own on a daily basis. I do love it though because I think it is going to be absolutely perfect for summer time and those hot days spent on the beach as it does have a high SPF content. Avon never disappoint me.
This product has a SPF of 50 and protects against UVA and UVB rays which is great.I found this product very convenient as it instantly improved my complexion by smoothing it and improving the colour of my skin.It also has the added bonus of liquorice and vitamin C extract to add to its mix while moisturizing the skin. The optical diffusers also blur the complexion and I noticed less pigmentation after using it for about two weeks. There are also different shades to match your skin hue.
Thank you very much BB for sending me the Avon Ideal Flawless Colour Correcting Cream to test. I must admit i wanted to test it properly before writing my review and i was also very sceptical i battle with dark spots and redness and decided to use it for 3 weeks before writing my review. I am honestly very very impressed and very happy as i can see improvement on my skin. i have also applied my normal base and then only applied the cc cream and to be honest the CC cream is by far the best it leaves my skin silky soft, moisturised and smooth. It also gives my skin a wonderful glow, look and feel and truly gives me a lot of confidence as i have received a lot of compliments since i have been using the cc cream its a wonderful product and a must the best part is that it has a SPF 50 which also protects your skin and it is definitely a must and priority on my shopping list Thank you Avon for this wonderful product
I received my CC cream about 2 weeks ago. I am a bit disappointed because it didn't work. I have a very red undertone in my skin as well as dark circles under my eyes. I used this product for 2 weeks as suggested and can see no difference. I also think this cream is over priced. I can't afford it on my own. What I did like is that it didn't feel like concealer and it has a spf of 50.

I have used different brands of foundations and BB creams before, but the CC cream by Avon takes the crown.
Avon CC Cream in Nude, gives my complection a silky soft, light and flawless finish. My skin looks youthful and feels moisturised.
At 35 years of age, the benefits I look for in skin and cosmetic care are an easy and quick application that not only corrects but also moisturises and protects. The Avon CC Cream with its SPF50 definitely surprised me! I am so in love with this product!
Without a doubt a handbag essential!
First on my checklist for holidays or to the beach is my Avon CC Cream next to my sunblock.
Days after I received my Avon CC Cream in the post I was invited to a braai with my fiancé. The only seat that was open was right in the sun. So as we get seated my fiancé asks me whether I will be okay in the sun. To his knowledge, I am always concerned about getting sunburned or ageing before my time. So I leaned over to him and whispered: 'Today I do not mind because I am wearing Avon CC Cream and guess what? It has a SPF sunfactor of 50!'
Remember to include Avon CC Cream on you next shopping list.
Thank you Avon and Beauty bulletin for the opportunity. I used the the Avon cc cream for about 3 days but i had an acne breakout from it so I had to discontinue use but i didn't want to write a crappy review just because of my sometimes "over sensitive" skin so instead i let my Mother use it everyday and she loves it. I love the fact that it is SPF 50 that is something that is very important for our skins. Regarding coverage it is very thin once its on the skin so its very light so little to medium coverage i would say. Another thing i love about it when its on your skin its matte so you don't look oily, it is also not heavy on your face :)**
It was and still is, an awesome experience.. thank you very much for sharing the product with me... it was made for my skin and I have been applying it ever since receiving it.. great glow to it. :)
SPF 50 - topping it hey.
I would recommend this to everyone...
Firstly, let me just say - Wow! This is an overall stunning product. I was lucky enough to review the Avon Ideal Flawless CC Colour Correcting Cream in Ivory.
I have very fair skin, with a cool pink undertone. The Ivory shade works perfectly with my skin, and left it feeling smooth and matte. It also covered up the redness in my skin. I did prefer a tiny bit more coverage, so I simply set the CC cream with pressed powder, and voilà! Ready for the day.
I also have combination skin, so usually by the end of the day the foundation in my T-zone has faded. The CC cream actually lasted longer, and it felt light on my skin the whole day, as if I wasn't wearing any make-up. It also didn't leave my skin feeling sticky or dry after application, as some foundations do.
Unfortunately I have not been using the product for two weeks so I can not yet say whether it truly improves dullness and dark circles, or helps fade pigmentation, but so far I am very impressed with the product. It provides UVA/UVB SPF 50, which is more than I've seen in most other similar products.
The best part of it all is that it is completely affordable! I'm guessing it will last about two months, if not more, as I literally only needed to use a drop of product to cover my whole face area. I definitely recommend this product to all girls who make an effort to protect their skin from the sun, and who prefer a natural look and feel when it comes to make-up!
