Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner

I know I've written a review on this product before and I criticized it quite a bit but I am here to give this lil gem the 5 stars it so truly deserves.

I was so disappointed the first time I used this gel eyeliner because I so badly wanted to be part of the experience that everyone was raving about. Which is probably why I held on to it for a while. I gave it another try a few months ago because I wanted my eyes to pop, and using a normal eyeliner didn't give my eyes that intense and dramatic look I was going for. Which is what lead me to writing this review...

I have now been using this gel liner for about 3 months, every day and I am loving it so so much, it has become one of my all time favorite beauty products! It is so easy to apply and the color is this rich, dark black that stays on all day long. I apply it to my top eyelid, but have recently started using it on the bottom as well, and I found that my eyeliner stays on longer, and doesn't smudge as much when I do this.

I am SO SO happy to finally be experiencing the love for this product! I still wouldn't recommend that you use this if you have sensitive eyes, because their is some glitter like particles in it which can be really irritating when it gets in the eye. But if you use it correctly that shouldn't be a problem.

I am very particular about what eye liner i use as i already have dark shadows/rings under my eyes the last thing i need is for my eyeliner to smudge and darken the area under my eyes. a friend recommended i use a gel liner and so began the hunt for the ideal product. i tried a few brands which didn't appeal to me and then i discovered the Maybelline gel pots and from the first day knew this was the gel liner for me. firstly the brush that comes with the product is so good, the colour is intense and needs just one application and the liner glides on and stays in place with no smudge as i go about my day. i have been to the gym and post work out there was my liner looking as if i had just put it on. this is a definite must have in every gals makeup bag!!

I was so excited to try this when it was launched in SA because I have read only good reviews about it on beauty blogs across the world. But sadly it is not for me, and it absolutely breaks my heart to say it! The gel irritates my eyes with or without contact lenses which was something I was really hoping it wouldn't do! I loved the packaging as well as the rich black color it gave but unfortunately it is just not meant to be for me. If you wear contact lenses or if you are known to have sensitive eyes, then rather give this one a miss.

This is an awesome product. I tried it this weekend and even though it was a hot summers day it stayed in place for 16 hours. Very impressed by the quality of the product and it is so easy to apply. It does not smudge and seems waterproof. You cannot go wrong with this!

Top Liner has never been my thing, I don't have a steady hand, and always leave the line going all over the place. A friend suggested I try the Maybelline Gel Liner, which I did. And I've never gone wrong since that day! it comes with the cutest little brush for foolproof eye liner and stays for 24 hours! which is a product made in heaven for me because I tend to rub my eyelids now and then. It also has a slight shimmer, which I find great for parties or evenings out! I think everyone should give this product a try!

Good value for money. The gel glides on smoothly and sets, it does not smudge leaving you look like you have been rubbing your eyes. Loving this at the moment, especially for the night time look

I have always had problems with eye liners. It always smudged and even if I used a setting powder after, I looked like a raccoon a few hours later.
Since I cannot go a day without eye liner, the search for the perfect liner is alway on.
When I first came across this gel liner, I was sceptical about the 24 hour wear claim. It was the first Gel liner that I tried and I have to say that this is now my go to eye liner.
The colour is strong and does stay on longer than any other eyeliner I have tried. The application is easy and the product glides on smoothly with just 1 glide. There is no irritation in my eye and no smudging (YAY).
This has become my daily wear produc.
