Experimenting with Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer in Light : Going Natural

Hi ladies :) As I have previously mentioned I suffer from extremely oily skin! As much as I love wearing make up, I also have those days where I feel like going all natural allowing my skin to breathe. On these specific days, by mid morning I'm usually blotting away at the oil - even when using oil control skincare! So I had an idea.. The Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer in light does an absolutely amazing job at keeping my make up in place and matte for a long period of time, could it possibly keep my skin matte and oil free when applied over my moisturizer?
