Eucerin Dermo Purifier Toner

This toner retails for R146 in a 200 ml bottle and is available at Clicks. It is part of the DermoPURIFYER range by Eucerin. It promises to "clear the skin and helps prevent blemishes" and "provides intensive cleaning for the T-zone and other problem areas" . It contains 2% lactic acid and is oil free. (YAY!)

This is now my third bottle of this toner. I use it about three times a week and it really unclogs my pores and control my breakouts! A bottle will last me about six months.

The lactic acid in the toner is used to unclog the pores without over-drying the skin. I have dry skin that is acne-prone and I can say that this toner lives up to its promises!

I was using it previously with the whole DermoPURIFYER range but I changed my daily moisturizers to another brand and kept the same toner. I feel like it works just as well if you use it on its own. The recommended usage is to moisten a cotton pad and apply it to affected areas, without obviously rinsing at the end.

I had a lot of blackheads on my nose and mostly in my T-zone area. This toner really helped keep them at bay and unclog my pores. I have super sensitive skin and I had no bad reaction towards the toner. It is light, refreshing and it does not have much of a fragrance. It has a slight alcohol smell, but that vanishes a few moments after application. I had no excess oil on my skin, no over-drying and no new breakouts and leaves my skin feeling and looking supple!

The bottle is nifty because its ideal to store it in your vanity for everyday use and for traveling it is not cumbersome. The bottle is also made of a very durable plastic so I never had to worry about the toner leaking when I was traveling.

For the price, I think it is worth it because you are getting a quality product that is very effective.

This product does wonders for clogged pores and oiliness.

Works best when used with all products in this range.

i tried this product a few months ago . i have really sensitive skin , so i thought about giving this a try. It has a refreshing smell and keeps my skin toned and removes the excess oil on my face. It didn't help with keeping the acne away but it did agree with my skin.

One of my fave toners, gives a nice fresh feeling to the skin without drying it out. It's not exactly cheap though still a mid-range price, so I wait for specials where you can get the toner free with other products or buy 3 get the cheapest free.

This toner feels really nice on my skin, makes it feel smooth, fresh and clean. The smell is also very pleasant. I find that this toner is gentle on my skin and it does not dry out my skin. This is very important for me as other products I use on my face can make it sensitive or dry when I have chemical peels done and this toner is not hardsh. Good product.

I've never really believed very strongly in toner as a necessary or useful product. It's always seemed like a bit of a con to me.
However, I still use it, mostly to dampen my skin slightly before applying moisturiser. And this is the toner I use! I think it came for free with the purchase of 2 products or something like that. I use it in a spray bottle, so I only use a tiny amount and it's lasted for ages.
I like it, but I have no idea whether it does anything or not. I fear, not!

My word,this product saved my skin,i was using the whole range for acne-prone skin,my skin became clear,soft and was glowing,everyone complimented me on my beatiful skin,the whole range was a bit pricey,but so worth it.I havent had any break-out since and i am currently not even using it,that is how amazing it is.

I read a couple of blog posts on the Eucerin DermoPURIFYER Toner and decided to give it a go. I was worried that it may be to harsh for my skin, as it is recommended for acne-prone skin. But I needed something to target my pores. The ‘2% Lactic Acid Follicle Targeting System’ is said to help unclog pores. It must be true! My pores seem to be not as clogged and maybe even a bit smaller (?) since I’ve started using this toner. My skin is clearer, brighter and I haven’t had any huge pimples since I started using it. I love it and this product has a permanent place on my shopping list.
