Essence - Pure Skin Anti-Spot Nose Strips

I was very disappointed in this product. Normally I love anything Essence, but these nose strips didn't do anything for my skin. For around R24 you receive only three strips.

I followed the instructions in the booklet and applied the strips as stated. However, when I removed them I found that a lot of sticky blue residue remained on my nose. Normally a nose strip should peel blackheads right off, but this one left plaster instead.

I wont be buying this product again, that's for sure. However, I will forever remain an Essence Fan.

I was a bit disappointed with this product. I felt it really didn't do justice to what it was meant to do. When I tried on the first strip and it failed, I thought maybe I'm just not doing the wrong thing, but when I tried out the second strip on another occasion I knew that this product really wasn't for me, so I gave the other strip to my friend who said it worked well on her, I thought maybe it just works better on some people rather than on others.

I'd never tried any Essence Pure Skin products when i bought these strips, and thought i'd give it a go. I was disappointed that you only get 3 single strips in the pack, but i liked that they were blue - different. I'm a firm believer in pore strips, they can completely change the overall look and feel of your skin - that said, i've tried my fair share of different brands. For me, these pore strips didn't appear to do anything except leave a gooey blue residue on my nose. I was a bit bleak, but after using all three of them, i don't think i'll be buying this product again.

I love trawling the isles at stores looking at new cosmetics, toiletries and make-up. I often sneak into Clicks for a quick scout as they have always got a nice range of aforable products.
I came across these strips on one of my missions and was quite excited to give them a try. There used to be strips when I was growing up but them all seemed to disapear off the market when I hit my late teens and needed them the most.
I have fairly good skin - even tones, hardly get blemishes ( only around that time of month and even then quite small ) but I do get blackheads. I exfoliate, I go to facials, I do purifying masks, etc...the usual assortment but nothing full works.
So when I stumbled across this little pack I thought WOW! I rember these from years ago, though a different brand it was the same concept and it used to work wonders. I grabbed a pack and promptly bought them.
I followed the instructions later that evening, waited for it to dry and then peeled off the patch.
Ok, so it kinda worked if you hold it to the light, but no major dif. I tried a further 2 times over the rest of the week and felt disapointed.

After washing the nose area with warm water, the strip is applied. when the strip is dry and stiff you just peel it off and a lot of blackheads stick to it. Very easy to use and quite effective.

These little strips come three in a pack, and each one is individually wrapped. There isn't too much to say about them. They do their job. They don't miraculously remove all your blackheads, but they definitely help clear some up. If I use these 3 days in a row then I can notice a difference. If you take a look at the strip after using it you will see how well it works (eeww!)

They are quick and easy to use. I'm not a huge fan of their smell, but it's not overly offensive. I've used these a few times and also used other brands nose strips. There isn't any real difference, expect maybe in price. I think the Dischem brand one's are cheaper and you get more strips.
