Essence Cover Stick

I bought mine in the shade of "001 Matt Sand".

I like to use this coverstick to lighten the section under my eyes and to cover up blemishes.

Although it doesn't work that well when you apply the cover stick and then foundation, it works pretty much okay when you apply it over your foundation before applying powder.

If you are looking for a good cover stick, I would probably not recommend this as I didn't love it that much, but it is okay when you just need that little bit of cover up.

This is definitely the best cover stick concealer I have ever used. It's perfect for my skin tone which is great as most concealers (from other brands) cater for lighter skin tones. It has a smooth application and is highly pigmented. It lasts long (the entire day) but may require a touch up in warmer temperatures.

It works best when used after a pore-refining primer and colour correctors. It blends really well (with your fingers, a brush or a sponge). It is also the the most effective product I have used to cover up blemishes, spots and dark circles. I usually apply it before my foundation so I use much less foundation.

The cover stick is a wind-up so it lasts really long (more than two months with daily use). It can also be used for contouring on lighter skin tones. One of the best things about this product is that it does not crease at all and can even be used as an eyeshadow primer.

So I got this because of all the rave reviews and because I've previously purchased stuff belonging to this much applauded brand and I've actually gotten more worth for my money each time :) Such quality products for a fraction of the price u would be expected to pay from other brands. Okay so I used this on the shadows I developed under my eyes due to long nights infront of the computer ,and over that I applied foundation and amazingly the dark shadows were barely visible. I love that it smoothes on quite nicely and has a natural look to it. I'm quite happy with this because I've tried other brands which disappointed me but essence is definitely a brand that proves that good results don't need to cost an arm and a leg !

My daughter loves to use hte essence cover stick, and it looks perfect natural on her skintype. I have also tried it and must say it does also work for me, so it is for all skintypes as indicated.

Stick concealers in general have a tendency to be dry. This, however, was not the case. Creamy, crease-proof and buildable, this has to be one of the best all-around cover-up I've used! You can even use this under your eyes.

I love is concealer. It's simply amazing. It's one of the first concealers that is affordable and hides marks for up to 12 hours. Once again :) thanks Essence for the most amazing products ever :) I recommend this product to anyone who doesn't have time to always touch up make up and needs to conceal marks and spots :)

It covers my spots up with perfection, and it has my colour to the T!
I would not recommend this to anyone, just in case they start looking better than me!

I use this in Matte Sand as well and i love this concealer. I use Revlon Photo Ready foundation and i have the concealer as well and it really doesnt cover as good as this Essence one. The texture is really nice and it goes on smoothly and covers imperfections well. i use it under my foundation and it kinds of blend it with it afterwards. i truely love this concealer and will not use another.

This cover stick is good value for money, and I have bought more expensive products that didnt work as well. It blends very well and doesnt look cakey, but has a matte finish so your imperfections arent as obvious. The drawback with this product is that it fades and rubs off, so reapplication is normally necessary during the day.
