Equiline Shampoo

I have used this for a long time now .It's a really good product if you want thicken and grow your hair faster . I have seen significant growth .
I must advise it dries out your hair so make sure you use a good quality conditioner or hair mask.

The only problem with this brand is that the nozzle is a twist cap so a lot of the product can get wasted if you not careful when using it.

Horse shampoo is something my sister has been using for some time. Her hair started thinning drastically and the only thing that helped was horse shampoo. She has noticed her hair thickening gradually over prolonged use of this shampoo. It does dry out the hair but she compensates With a good conditioner and regular hair treatments.

I tried out this shampoo to make my hair grow again. I had heard a lot of people praising it for hair growth and good results. So I thought I would give it a try, it was the biggest mistake! It made my hair extremely dry and brittled! My hair is very frizzy and I DRY! It has made my hair grow a little bit, but it's not worth the damage to my hair. I'm not struggling to get the moisture back to my hair. It's mission to transform these dry and dull locks to shiny locks again. I am using a deep conditioning coconut oil formula to help repair my hair.

In a quest to make my hair grow fast I ended up buying this shampoo after hearing about the wonders it does for hair growth.
I have only been using it for about 3 weeks now.. and I wash my hair every 3 days.. so it really isn't long enough to say whether it has made a difference in the growth of my hair but I can give you a low down of the shampoo itself...
It is quite a reasonable price, I paid about R65 for a 1L bottle at Dischem (It is a lot cheaper then Main n Tail which is is the other horse shampoo on the market for human hair).
It is very runny in consistency and doesnt foam like normal shampoo so suggest just mixing it with regular shampoo in the palm of your hand.. but be careful cause it does come out the bottle fast fast!

It definitely cleans hair very well! My hair was literally squeaky clean as I was rinsing it out.
My hair also seems to stay cleaner for longer between washes. It even made my hair feel much lighter, and I have thick hair!
It does seem to make my hair a little dry but nothing a good conditioner and hair mask or oil treatment once a week cant fix.

In a couple of months I will update you on whether it actually made a difference in my hair growth or not :)

I have rather thin hair, so lots of people recommend I use this product, I gave it a try for 2 weeks, and never again!!! It made my fine hair so tangly and knotty, so caused more hair to fall out when brushing, no matter how much conditioner was used! Left my hair so dry and brittle, it had no life!!! It took me 3 months to get my hair shiny and healthy again..

This dried my hair out, dried my scalp out and left me with straw like hair no matter how much conditioner I used. My hair didnt grow any faster. It took months and months to restore my hair and i was at school therefore I had my natural hair not dyed or anything. Sorry, but it ruined my hair.

I started using Equiline Shampoo in 2011 for the first time and within weeks I could feel the transformation in my hair. My hair felt and looked softer, shinier, stronger and it was longer than ever. This is my "Holy Grail" I swear by this shampoo. I started using it in 2011 and now 2014 I'm still using it, and will continueing using it for a very long time. It's very affordable and comes in a 1litre bottle. If you are looking for stronger, longer, healthier looking hair this is a shampoo that will give you just that. It really works. My hair is down my back, slightly past my Bra strap and it's all thanks to adding this shampoo into my normal routine. I wash my hair with it every week, and when I get asked what I used to get my hair this long,,,,,, all I can say is "EQUILINE". Like they say, "don't knock it til you've tried it.

I used this for some time and my hair did grow. However it caused my hair and scalp to get so dry. So for me this product is a big no no. Still struggling to get the balance back in my hair

Love this, I know it isn't very glamorous but it really works my hair has never been so clean and lasts so much longer between washes. Although I haven't noticed faster hair growth from this product it is definitely worth a try!

Both my mom and I have used this shampoo and it does work in our opinion. I always felt a bit shy using this horse shampoo but then once I saw it with every other shampoo at Dischem made me realise how many people use it if it's just there with all the other shampoos haha. Definately worth a try ladies.

I finally plucked up the courage to use this after my friend was raving about it. After the first use I had to do a deep conditioning, which I don't mind because it is something I do with every shampoo wash. It did leave my hair had and dry so I left it to every second week. I think my hair is used to it because it does not get dry and hard anymore whenever I use the shampoo. The best thing about it is that it cleans very well. I washed my braided hair with it, and have found in the past that I needed to do a couple of lathers before I could get a clean and clean and clear scalp and hair. With this, I just cleaned once.

It doe not smell all too good so conditioning with a nice smelling product is advised. The formula is also watery and does not lather too well.

Despite that, I would still recommend it.

Oh, and I have less breakage on my hair.

This shampoo is safe for use by humans. When I used it I saw a noticeable difference in my hair strength. It drastically reduced my breakage BUT it made my hair feel as dry as straw. I already have dry hair and this worsened it, I had to use a lot of conditioner and deep treatments to make it feel soft.

It may sound odd to use horse shampoo, but many people have tried it and have seen the amazing results. My hair in particular grows a few cms every couple of weeks when using this. One would just have to make sure not to colour their hair just before using this.

So this one is a bit weird to be reviewing on a Beauty Blog, buy hey, it works!

Equiline is a horse shampoo, yes, but have you not noticed how shiny and healthy a horse's main always looks??

I picked this shampoo up a while back after a few people recommended I try a horse shampoo for my hair, which I like to keep long. Problem with long hair for me is that it gets greasy really quickly, and if I don't use the right hair products my hair tends to look really dull. It also becomes brittle and breaks off a lot if I style it too much.

I use this as a clarifying shampoo, to remove all the build up of other shampoos and conditioners, as well as all the gunk in the polluted air. Once I use it, my hair feels really clean, healthy and stronger. I am also left with a great shine which is never gone unnoticed.

The smell of this stuff is not great at all, but once I use my conditioner, it is completely gone.

The directions indicates that it be diluted, but I use it straight out of the bottle and the results are incredible.
