Elizabeth Arden Intervene Peel & Reveal Revitalising Treatment comes in a glass jar with a sponge applicator, which I did not use. The treatment has a thin gel-like texture and it is runny. You apply a thin layer, wait for it to dry and then peel off the mask. It is a gentle peel that does its job, leaving the rejuvenated and revived.

Elizabeth Arden Intervene Skin Tone Perfecting Capsules are for achieving radiant looking skin. Each vitamin C packed capsule works all night long to help reverse the effects of stress & sun damage, dullness caused by age spots, discoloration, even the dark traces left by acne. The bottle contains 37 capsules. When I was using these capsules, I noticed a visible difference in my skin tone. It faded some of the dark spots I had, and there was an overall improvement in my skin tone. The product is pricy but the bottle lasts for 37 days (1 capsule a day). I prefer to use these capsules at night.

I received the Elizabeth Arden Skin Illuminating capsules, rather late. So late in fact, I had received them after the deadline to post the review.
Nonetheless I used the capsules religiously night after night. I have a dark skin tone and did notice a difference after using the capsules. My skin felt polished, smooth with and evened out tone. However I didn’t notice a significantly brighter difference to my skin. I must say though applying this velvety liquid over my face every night felt like pure pleasure. The light weight liquid is ideal as it doesn’t feel like a layer on your skin because it is immediately absorbed into your skin. It is light enough to apply your night cream over with ease.

Okay, okay I'll be as honest as always. Firstly let me mention how blonde I was when I looked at the packaging, I had to go to a beauty consultant to be sure how one takes the capsule. In my blonde mind when one says capsule I automatically think glass and water. To my surprise all I needed to do was to twist and squeeze the gel on my finger tip. Although I've never touched a snail but the gel somewhat feels mooshy like a snail. I must say I love how it applies on my face but after a few minutes my face looks as though it's peeling. My boyfriend had to even ask me if I'm sure about what I'm using. Well I didn't stop and carried on until I completed the course because I wanted to see the end results. Ryt now I'm happy to say that my face has a natural glow and has an illuminating look to it. I simply can't keep away from the mirror. Now i have to ask my boyfriend to buy me a new course *wink*

I will admit, I was sceptical at first. How could this tiny little mushy thing work? It exceeded all my expectations. I give this a thumbs up. I only noticed a difference after the course was over. My skin is smoother and brighter. Like it has an inner glow. I had to use aqueous cream after the capsule because I have sahara desert dry skin. But overall its a great product, pleasant smell too. To get maximum benifit, let the product sit on your skin for a few minutes before apllying face cream. Beauty sleep at its best!

This products really amazed me! On the first day i did not see any results, everything started to look better on the second day. My skin was glowing and also I had uneven skin ton on my cheek bone. After a few more days, my skin looked more balanced, as if i had make up on.

I also have dark spots on my face and the product helped reduce darkness of them.
Suffering from dry skin was never a problem because one capsule was more than enough for moisturizing my skin. In my opinion, this product is recommended for all skin types for all ages

my skin has dark marks and uneven tone. I noticed the difference after a week of using this product, my skin had a glow and the dark marks were fading away. I love how the serum feels on my skin and the scent. after 2 weeks of using this serum, my dark marks and the unevenness was reduced so i'm really confident in this product.

1st things 1st, I loved the way the product is portioned in capsules, making you use the correct amount each night. I really looked forward to my evening downtime to apply the serum.
A few people commented that my skin was looking great, but I am not sure if it was because of my acne medication or because of the capsules. I will definitely give it a try though, but for a longer period of time

I'm exceptionally conscious about my dark pigmentation around my mouth area. this is why I was so excited to have the opportunity to review this product.
With all the positive thinking and hopes in the world- I collected my anxiousness and started my journey with this product.
After my night shower, I allowed my skin to relax for about 10 minutes before twisting open the night capsule and liberally applying it to my face and neck. It's like applying liquid silk to your skin! After rubbing it in for a few minutes, I noticed that I could continue touching my face and would probably be rubbing forever if my arms didn't get tired. lol.

It's gentle on the skin as my skin is sensitive to harsher perfumed products. I started to notice a difference on my cheeks after about 3.5 weeks where I had a mark from a spot. the area aroiund my mouth also seems to now be looking lighter. I think this product is great, it should however be accompanied by the rest of the range for maximum results.

This is day 11 of using the EA Skin Illuminating night capsules. I took this long because I wanted to be sure that it the capsules really work. Even though I was impressed from the get go, skin tends to react late.

So far...so good. My skin loves the gooey serum inside and your face looks like you just applied natural makeup. It is a pity that you sleep with such a pretty, well-toned face that nobody really sees. it doesn't make the skin itchy at all instead it calms the skin, after a rough day in the sun or concrete jungle.

this is the best product i have used in a long time as its very difficult for me to find something suitable with my kind of skin.i could feel the serum work immediately after puuting it on and in two days the difference was noticed by my mom and collegues....needless to sa everyone is thrilled and ready to spend money on this one.

I love love loved it, the serum is so smooth on my skin and so silky to rub on the skin. Ive used it for only two nights and yesterday morning I only realised when I was on my way to school that I had forgotten to put on foundation, because my skin looked and felt so amazing that I when I looked in the mirror before leaving the house it looked good enough to get out.

I definitely loved the product. It went on like silk and left no oily residue behind. It made my skin feel amazing and while I loved it so much, I doubt I will use it again. It's too costly for my tiny pocket.

I saw a markable difference in the appearance of my skin and small zit scars are almost gone now.

I liked that the product comes in once of capsules because then I know exactly how much to use. It takes the guess work out of how much or how little which helps since most of never know how much is too much.

The smell is also amazing and I never feel uncomfortable after its gone on because it disappears into my skin.

A great product indeed...now will someone give me more? =)

Housed in a little silver capsule, is a miracle serum. The amount in the capsule is actually enough for 1.5 applications. The serum is a yellow gel type, and is extremely smooth and luxurious, makes my skin feel like silk. It spreads really easily, and I find that I didnt need moisturiser on top of it.

I had one stubbon mark on my face, and was eager to see if that would go away, unfortunately it didnt. But I also have uneven skin tone and a few other pigmentation marks, and it helped! It improved the general well being of my skin. My skin was visibly more even, it felt better, and looked better too.

The capsule is simple to use, simply twist the cap twice, and that is that.

The box is absolutely amazing, it has a subtle swirl design on it and is so classy and elegant, just what the brand is known for.

Luckily for the 1.5 capsules, enter my mom, ,who has severe pigmentation on her cheek bone area. So, with the leftover serum she applied it to just her pigmentation areas.

I am hoping that I do not get the same pigmentation as I age, and prevention is better than cure, so I wear sunscreen religiously, and I loved using this serum to help with my existing skin tone.

With most skincare products that claim to make a difference to your skin, it needs to be used consistently and over a longer period of time. I would recommend this to anyone who suffers from uneven skin tone, and has a history of pigmentation. This serum doesnt clog pores, so can also be used on acne prone skin.

I finally managed to finish my two weeks of using Elizabeth Arden skin illuminating advanced night capsules. What a journey indeed! As I reflect on the past two weeks of sampling the product, I realise that anyone can have beautiful skin, it's just a matter of knowing what skin product to use and consistently using it.
My skin tone is a bit uneven, I guess it's because of my lifestyle which involves going up and down in the sun all day causing dark marks on my face. Uneven skin tone has always been a confidence buster for me and it's soooo embarrassing really. You always have that feeling of wondering if people will be noticing the dark areas too.
I was super excited when I got to try out Elizabeth Arden for free, thanks Beauty Bulletin for the opportunity.
One of the things I remember being most impressed about was how perfectly and precisely packaged the capsules were. It does show how Elizabeth Arden has a knack of paying attention to detail whilst also ensuring that one can use an equal amount of the advanced illuminating extract. This serum in a capsule is ideal for using at night I order to even out skin whilst one sleeps. Its ingredients especially the botanical extracts and vitamin C help fight and support the skin's natural Collagen and elastic matrix so that skin looks brighter and smoother.
It really does deliver on its promise. I used the capsules every night after showering and my skin has changed significantly. It's brighter and I love the way it feels! I also realized that, like anything else, I can't expect a complete 360 turn around on my skin tone except major improvements whilst using the capsules for a prolonged time. Two weeks of using the product has proved that it is indeed effective so I will definitely save up so that I can afford to purchase the 50 capsules bottle. I also noted that consistency in using the advanced brightening night capsules is a must. Going on days of skipping using the capsules does affect the outcome of the results as it will deter visible results in the anticipated time frame and it will seem like the product does not work. I would advise that the capsules be used daily to achieve maximum results. Also whilst using the capsules, I experienced no side effects associated with most other brightening creams so I can confidently say that this product is safe. It really is worth a try. This is my Day 1 of using the Elizabeth Arden night capsules...

The capsules are easy to open and have instructions at the back which is a good thing. I didn't know what to expect as I'd never used EA products in my life (EXPENSIVE). The cream,or gooey stuff,is golden in colour and smells like face wash,I was a bit tempted to go wash my face after applying it. It is non-greasy and doesn't even stay on your pillow when you sleep.

I don't know if it was my imagination but,its like I could feel the change in my skin almost immediately...

Elizabeth Arden has class! I am so in love with their packaging! Appearances are important and Elizabeth Arden has clearly mastered that art! Who can turn down an exquisitely packaged beauty product? (certainly not me!). This is day two of my beauty regiment, will post before and after pics so that my fellow ladies out there can get a glimpse of the effectiveness of the brightening night capsules.

I am a bit embarrassed to say this but I initially thought that I had to swallow the capsules (weird imagination, huh?). It's just when I heard the name capsules I immediately thought of antibiotics and stuff. Hahaha. Oh well, thank goodness for instructions at the back, otherwise I would have been saying a different story right now (smiles). The capsules do look a bit like grey antibiotics with a twister on the top but they are meant for external use only.

To open the capsule, simply twist the the neck of the capsule twice and it will open and a bit of serum will gush out. I apply it at night just before bed and after I have cleansed my face. The texture of the serum is so soft and not sticky at all. It quickly gets absorbed into the skin leaving the face looking well moisturized and on top of that, it smells nice. Yay! I have noticed a remarkable change already in the two days I have used the brightening capsules. My skin is relatively lighter than before and I am keeping my fingers crossed hoping that my dark spots will be eliminated.

Although the Brightening Night Capsules retails for R595 for 50 capsules and is slightly above the price point of the average woman, it can be considered as a viable investment if it is as effective as the bottle says it is. Then again, Elizabeth Arden has always gotten things right and one can be guaranteed that they will get value for their money.
