The beautiful packaging that is always a part of Elizabeth Arden products is very lovely to look at with its playful flowers and colours.
I used the Nail Lacquer Duo called Purple Orchid. It’s a beautiful pastel looking purple that is perfect for a neat and subtle colour. It has normal consistency and the brush is just like any other nail polish applicator. It’s easy to apply and dries within 30 seconds. Quick drying nail lacquer is always a triple plus for me.
I had to apply two coats to get the coverage I wanted, but you can apply a single coat is you want a lighter colour. I then applied the clear top coat and this gave the colour a super glossy finish. This also dried quickly…within a minute or so.
The chipping did start a couple of days later though - But this maybe because I did the dishes with no gloves on.
This is a lovely nail lacquer in terms of colour and the overall New York in bloom theme, but in terms of long lasting chip resistance, it does not last more than two days in my experience.
