The formula is magical and glides on super smooth. The combination of the formula and the brush means no clumps left on your eyelashes. Thanks to their new formula in this mascara, in one swipe lashes are also strengthened.

The packaging is equally appealing as the product itself. The canister is firstly square in shape, which is very new and attractive for mascara. This gives the product a very modern, edgy feel but still keeping with the clean lines and appeal of Elizabeth Arden products. It is in full gold with the signature Red Door logo on the lid, this just screams luxury. The applicator is fully black; this is quite nice as it offers a neat look instead of having your white applicator stem full of mascara. The brush has very fine spaced out bristles that manage to leave no eyelash un-covered. I will feel rather gloomy when having to throw away this beautiful looking mascara canister.

This is one of the best mascara’s I’ve ever used. It offers great coverage and definition without clotting and clumping. At R195 it might sound steep for some but consider it an investment. As they say, the eyes are the window to the soul, so why not splurge on framing them to their best.
