Hi everyone,
I was so grateful when Beauty Bulletin chose me to review yet another amazing product. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to keep up with doing reviews and campus due to the crazy work flow, but now I have some free time :) yay!
So I've been using this product for a month and I am blown away each time I apply it!
Okay, so let's start on the packaging..
Classic, timeless, elegant. Yes, typical Elizabeth Arden product packaging!
I am inlove with the simple, yet elegant box the product came in. It's a rectangular golden box with a silver rectangle on the one side of the box where it has the product name and the oh-so famous Elizabeth Arden Red Door.
How can something so simple be so classic??
The actual lipgloss tube matches the box. The top of the applicator is gold and it has the Elizabeth Arden Red Door symbol on it. The actual tube is see-through so you can admire the amazing pigmented colour. The colour has a bit of a shimmer in it, which is nice.
On the one side of the tube, there's a handy compact mirror that makes application easy. No fuss with big "compact" mirrors. It makes it so much easier to just reapply after a few hours.
The texture of the lipgloss is amazing. It's very elastic and moves with your lips. It's not stiff, which I like. It glides on with ease and the paddle like applicator makes it easy to perfect your cupids bow.
I simply adore this applicator. Its flat and fluffy!
The lipgloss does stay on fairly long and even when the gloss is a faded, the colour is still on your lips. Food, drinks, kisses and hair is no match for this lipgloss! The nice thing about the gloss is that it's very moisturizing. It makes your lips feel amazingly smooth.
And now for.......the smell...
OMW! I am inlove with the smell of this lipgloss! Usually lipglosses would normally smell minty, lemony or have this weird plastic smell but this one will definitely make you have a craving for sweet things!
It smells like vanilla mixed with cocoa butter and tennis biscuits! *on nom nom*
The only thing that I really dislike about this product is....the price :(
It is kind of expensive and I don't foresee myself buying it for myself while I am a student. Living on a student budget is tough, man lol. It retails for R180.00.
It comes in 14 beautiful shades that's fit for everyone :) yay!
Thank you so much Beauty Bulletin for blessing me with the opportunity to review this product. I am so thankful for it :)
PS. Sorry :( I missed the deadline.
xo.
