Yesterday, I was treated to a much needed de-stresser, thanks to Elemis and Beauty Bulletin. Out of the five complimentary express treatments, I decided to go along with the instant temple and pressure point reviver, and I’m so glad I did because it felt as if I received a five-in-one treat.
I had the treatment done at the Elemis counter in Edgars V&A Waterfront by a woman named Shireen. She started off by closing the counter off for some privacy, which I thought was very considerate of her.
Then she went on to massaging my temples with the Elemis Quiet Mind Temple Balm. This product contains a powerful blend of essential oils to help promote harmony, tranquility and relaxation. She massaged it into my temples, the back of my neck as well as my ear lobes. This relaxed me instantly. Even the smell of the product was very calming and soothing.
Next, she went on to massaging my back, which I didn’t expect at all. She used the Elemis Instant Refreshing Gel, which is used to relieve muscle tension instantly. And, that’s exactly what it did. I could feel the cooling camphor and menthol from this product. It did wonders for the knots around my shoulders and neck.
Another treat I didn’t expect from Shireen was the eye treatment she gave me. She patted Elemis Tea Tree S.O.S Spray around my eye area. Tea Tree is nature’s own antiseptic, so it worked well for my tired looking eyes. Once this was complete, she again went on to massaging my neck and back. It was so good that I nearly fell asleep!
I would recommend this luxury treatment to anyone looking for a good spa treatment. If this one was so fantastic, I can only imagine how incredible the other Elemis treatments must be.
