I didn't find this mask that bad. I had the one in the light blue packaging. It was the first mask I ever tried at the time and I have finished the whole tub now which lasted me almost a year. I used straighteners to curl the end of my hair up which left them split. I believe that thanks to this mask my hair didn't get destroyed. My hair is limp and straght so it normally doesn't requite huge amount of moisture maybe that is the reason it worked well enough for me. I felt my hair get thicker and more moisturised after this. I did leave fore longer than 10 minutes at a time normally while I was doing body scrubs and long bath soaks
