This is a very lightweight cream that immediately dries on your skin. The scent is a little bit too strong for my liking. The Mellissa plant/herb is also known as lemon balm. It's used as a calming agent, has antibacterial properties and it has exceptionally high antioxidant activity. So besides the off-putting scent, which many love, it has fantastic abilities as a day cream and it has even better ingredients. Some of the other goodies inside this cream are sunflower seed oil, coconut oil, jojoba seed oil, peanut oil, apricot kernel oil, daisy flower extract, witch hazel and carrot root extract.
So not a huge fan of the smell, but I do like the actual cream. It works perfectly underneath foundation and creates a canvas for a smooth application of makeup. My skin is clearer, softer, smoother and more radiant after using this for a few weeks. It's extremely expensive but if you are willing to pay this much for a cream then this one is a good option.
