Dove Advanced Hair Series Range

I was very sceptical about doing this review because of the brand's history with regards to issues around race representation in ads - a brand that doesn't know how to represent you can't possibly know how to cater to you was what I thought but this range is HONESTLY efficient for all the hair types it represents (dry, damaged hair & fine flat hair).

I have dry hair and most of the time, it's also damaged because I colour it a lot. The 'dry care' moisture shampoo and conditioner are a combo I trust to revive my hair and bring the bounce back into my coils after a dye day. I did this review with my friends, the ones who used it on their wigs LOVE the smell of the 'oxygen moisture' shampoo. The project ran last year and I still use the products.

Dove Treatment Mask:

This is a PRODUCT that i call my holy grail. I use this as a leave in mask and not as a mask that you rinse out. This mask is perfect when you have a head of a curly hair. This product tames my hair and allows me to wash and wear my hair. I feel 100% confident in doing this as it leaves my hair frizz free for the day and soft and not tacky or hard like a conditoner would. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who is need of a good curly hair treatment, or if you need frizz control.

This Product has been nothing short of amazing on my hair. The Dove Advanced Hair Series Oxygen Moisture: Shampoo and Conditioner

This product is perfect for my hair. I am recently growing out my hair as it was very badly damaged. This range of hair care has tranformed my hair, giving back it's natural curl and bounce. I am amazed by the beautiful fragrance that accompanies my hair everytime i use it. The shampoo is light-weight and the lathers rather well with a small amount of product. The conditioner is super helpful and leaves my hair feeling rather soft and silky smooth. The light-weight product easily rinses through my hair and doesnt leave it feeling too tacky or greasy.

The hair series has fully transformed the texture and feel of my hair. I have my curls back. I will most definitely use this product paired with the other treatments.

After a month of using the Dove oxidized moisture range, I couldn’t be more satisfied. For a girl who normally has extremely oily hair, the Dove Shampoo alone removes all excess oil leaving my hair feeling amazing. In addition, the conditioner works better than any other conditioner I’ve used and the masks leave my hair feeling great. In essence, the Dove Oxidizing Range has left my hair feeling soft, smooth and silky while smelling pleasant too. Not only am I obsessed with the packaging and scent of the products but I honestly can not get over how soft, smooth and nourished they left my hair after the first wash. I am in love.

I love Dove hair products are really good and I use then on my 4c hair and my weaves/ wigs.
This range worked really well for may straight & loose wave hair.
It leaves it feeling silky and soft from the oils that are added. The product also tames freeze and smells good too. Only downfall is that it's not a v good de-tangler though so I wouldn't recommend it for very curly / coily hair (nourishing oil care is more suited)

The DOVE PURE CARE DRY OIL SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER is really not to be underestimated..in my quest to find hair care products to tame my frizzy hair and combat dryness I have tried just about everything ..it hits the budget hard so I was thrilled when Dove came up with an affordable product to help with my hair problems.

The shampoo is rich in lather and gives my hair a good clean and is gentle on my scalp which is quite sensitive. The conditioner conditions deeply and leaves my hair feeling soft and silky and tangle free. Styling is a breeze ..i thought my hair would be left weighed down or look greasy but quite the contrary _my hair feels light and bouncy and best of all is left frizz free ,although not for very long but that is due to it being extremely frizzy and of course Durbans awful humidity... still a huge fan of any product that can keep my frizzy mess looking close to perfect even for a little while.

Dove shampoos and conditioners are not only used by me but by my whole family too. The price is good, the product does what it says it will do and my hair always looks and feels good!

Why is it 'the' product for me?

I have been using these products for about two years and I have not looked back. I have curly hair and sometimes my hair tends to get dry. After one wash and condition, my hair is left feeling soft , smooth and shinier. Sometimes I switch the Dove Nourishing Oil Care Shampoo for the Pure Care Dry Oil Shampoo or the Intensive Repair Shampoo. By doing that I have noticed my hair has a bit volume when I switch things up.
These products have made such a big and noticeable difference on my hair.

For the shampoo and conditioner products, they have caps which makes things easier when in the shower. The consistency of the shampoo is a thin liquid which has this silky feel to it. My hair is left squeaky clean after I have used it. The conditioner has a thicker consistency and when applied and washed off from hair, I have noticed it has this glossy finish to my hair. I use these products twice a week.

This is a good buy for these products. I promise you won't regret it ?

The Oxygen Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner cleanses and moisturisers hair. By adding Oxygen into the product, give the hair more volume which helps fine and flat hair come alive. The Shampoo has a lot of lather, which helps the scalp to get completely clean leaving not only the hair but the scalp clean. The Conditioner deeply moisturises the hair from roots to tip. Thats one of my favourite thing about this range my ends no longer feel dead and life less.

The packaging of the products allows the product come out more easily than most hair products allowing you to use all the product purchased. This product really exceed my expectations. Well done Dove.

Before I start I'm just going to give some background on my hair and my sisters hair as we both used this product. We are both naturally brunettes however my sister has blue hair and I have blonde ombred hair. Due to us dying our hair we do have damaged and dry hair.

We previously used Tresemme and then Pantene. With that being said i did not particularly like the dove shampoo and conditioner. I felt that it didn't do much for my hair and did not leave it feeling anymore nourished than it already was. To be honest with you I prefer Pantene.

When I first smelt the shampoo it really did smell amazing however i was left feeling disappointed when after using it my hair did not smell anything like it. It also stripped some of the color from my sisters hair so i would not suggest it for people with semi permanent hair color. We have previously used their hair mask which we absolutely love so we were also disappointed when the shampoo and conditioner did not live up to our expectations.

I never would've associated Dove products with Ethnic hair but I am so impressed. I suffered with dry, flat and brittle hair and a problematic scalp but I found that when I started using this product my hair become much fully and broke less. Although the shampoo did remove the dandruff off the surface of my scalp it failed to fully get it out of my hair which was probably due to my hair type. Altogether a really amazing product that has a great smell that lasts on my hair.

The Dove pure care dry oil shampoo and conditioner has become my new hair partner! My hair was dull and my ends had dried out. My hair looked lifeless and could not be styled without drying out.
This dove range has softened my hair and has given its shine back! Due to it being infused with special oils, it not only has an amazing scent but also nourishes your hair.
My hair feels light,nourished and looks fab! I no longer have to worry about my hair drying out or losing its shine.
I would definitely recommend this product to those who feel their hair is dull and dry.

Dove pure care dry oil range is aimed at dry hair and replaces oil without making hair greasy. It nourishes, strengthens and adds shine to hair while keeping hair soft, smooth and untangled.

Firstly, the smell of the shampoo is amazing! It’s infused with macadamia oil. The shampoo lathers well and cleans effectively with just one wash. I really enjoyed the fact that my hair felt clean and strong but not dried out after washing. My hair was easy to style and remained clean for the next few days.

The smell of the conditioner is just as amazing as the shampoo – macadamia nut oil is my new favourite scent! I always leave my conditioner on for a few minutes to develop and soften my hair fully. It rinses super well and leaves my hair feeling soft but not soapy. My hair was easy to style and remained moisturised for the next few days – without becoming greasy. Huge fan of my perfect hair care pairing!

Dove Advanced Hair Series Oxygen Moisture is the most amazing hair product I have tried.

I have very brittle hair and often tend to use shampoo's, conditioners and treatments to strengthen my hair. Until now that is. Dove Advanced Hair series showed me that I don't need all this products to make my hair feel this amazing! All I need is Dove Oxygen Moisture.

I shared this experience with my sister Cirsty and it was amazing.

"Who says you can't have moisture and volume?" Dove is so correct. Lets start right at the beginning.
Love at first sight. The packaging look amazing and the tubes are so easy and convenient to use. No more struggling with wet soapy hands, jumping up and down to get some shampoo or conditioner out. The easy to use packaging makes it just a flip and squeeze away.
The second thing I love about this range is the smell! Wow... Nothing is better than washing your hair and it not feeling fresh and clean but also smells irresistible! I couldn't stop smelling my hair for days.
The texture of the shampoo and conditioner is so silky and smooth making it easy to apply and easy to rinse off. You don't need to use an excessive amount to make your hair soapy or feel soft. Dove allows you to use a normal amount but still leaves your hair feeling clean and soft. The product was very easy to rinse off and there was no hassles when washing my hair. My hair came out less tangled and feeling light.
After I completed washing my hair I had to put the product to the real test. Lets do my hair....
Wow I was amazed at the results!! I had less breakage and my hair was so light and soft I didn't need a serum.

You don't need oils to make your hair look healthy! Dove made me realize this. I suffer from very dry and brittle hair and often use a lot of oils on my hair to make it look healthy but it also makes my hair look stiff and dull and I have to redo my hair after 2 days again because it looks dirty. When I used Dove Pure Care Dry Oil all of this changed. I shampoo'd and conditioned my hair and was able to run my fingers through my curls with no hiccups. My hair was smooth and soft and nourished and felt like its never felt before. The smell of my hair knocked me off my feet and gave me a boost of confidence I've never felt before. This was like no other. I couldn't believe my hair felt this great! When I blew my hair out I was so amazed at how it looked. It was so soft and full of body and looked healthy and strong. Oily brittle hair is now a thing of the past!! Thank you Dove for an amazing product that not only looks good, makes you feel good, but also affordable and so efficient!

Once you try Dove you'll never go back.

In the past I didn’t pay much attention to the shampoo and conditioner I used. All I cared about was my hair being clean and looking pretty.

I think that’s where the love hate relationship with my hair started. I wasn’t loving my hair because I wasn’t giving my hair what it needed until now!

With the Dove Shampoo I love the packaging, quantity and price. I used about two handfuls per wash for my hair and it gave a great wash. My hair was soapy, which I love and there was no irritated on my scalp. I just wish it had a stronger fragrance, other than that I loved it and will be repurchasing.

With the Dove conditioner I loved the smell and texture. I used only one handful of conditioner per wash and it was enough. I’m a fan of when a little goes a long way! I also left the conditioner in my hair and it didn’t harden when it dried, like most conditioners normally do. Love it and will be buying it again.

I’ve had two washes with these products and I’m already feeling a difference in my hair, my hair doesn’t feel as dry as it used to. I cannot wait to see the long term results, my hair is loving these products and it makes me love my hair.

I'm INLOVE with the Dove Oxygen Moisture Range! My hair looks and feels so much healthier and fuller!

I'm so happy with this product and will definitely be buying this range again. It's abit more pricey than the other dove hair products, but definitely worth the buy!

If you are looking for a great shampoo and conditioner range, look no further than the Dove Dry Oil hair care range.

I previously used expensive products, you could only purchase at a hairdresser and it gave what it promised, but circumstances changed and so I needed something more cost effective but gave me the same effects as the expensive products.

So I bought the Dry Oil range for thick hair and I couldn't even tell the difference, the smell was great and it made my hair feel silky smooth, for a fraction of the cost it's really the one of the best in the market.

I have dry hair and this range didn't make it oily or unmanageable and I don't need to wash my hair for days and it is still fresh and smells as good as the day I washed it. I wouldn't find another brand because I'm completely happy. Aaaaand if you want they do have a hair mask and oil available for that extra moisture for those girls with dry hair.

Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for quality at an affordable price :)

Dove ? it been good to my hair

Dove Pure Care Dry Oil Shampoo and Conditioner has been a life saver for my hair, especially being a sportswoman.

Being around the pool all day and being in the water had its effects on my hair and my hair became dry, until this product came along.

I trust Dove to give me hair life again and to moisturize my hair to make it feel great. I have never been happier with my hair and it has never felt healthier.

I have been a die hard fan of Dove ever since they launched in SA, and my bathroom is never without their soap or conditioner. Although my hair is quite fine and short I battle with dryness and tangling so I rely heavily on a thick cream conditioner to un-knot it. I also wash my hair daily so a lightweight shampoo is what works for me. I've been using the original Dove shampoo and conditioner for years and so switching across to the Oxygen Moisture range was a logical next step.

I love the product packaging and find it to be a really pretty upgrade from their original bottles. The flip top caps also seem sturdier than their sister bottles. The product itself is lovely and fresh, although I would have liked a bit of a stronger scent - I'm a sucker for nice smells! the shampoo is excellent but I did find I had to use quite a bit of conditioner on my hair - so I would probably stick to the repair shampoo and conditioner.

Sadly my before and after pics look the same - I've yet to find a shampoo that turned me into Blake Lively! One thing I've found is that my hair seems to have a bit more body in it after styling - which is always a good thing!

I was really impressed with the texture and fragrance of these products, especially the conditioner.

The conditioner has African macadamia oil in it which is really good for adding moisture and shine to your hair. I even left some product in my hair because I really loved the texture and scent of it.

The one thing this product is not though, is a detangler. I even pre-pooed (applied conditioner before shampoo) because my hair takes quite a while to detangle and I used a lot of product. But other than it, it’s really great.

I loved the shampoo - it felt quite clarifying, and not drying, even though I'd shampooed twice.

I've been using dove advance hair series oxgyen moisture for fine flat hair. My hair was very thin and it lacked volume before I started using dove. It has helped me so much my hair looks beautiful and healthy now.

I recommend this range. My hair was dry and lifeless. Using this Dove Advance I could see the change. My shine is back and my hair feels so moisturized. I am glad I tried this products. Thank you Dove.

I spend HOURS and HOURS every few months at Dischem / Clicks deliberating and reading up on hair / beauty products for each price catergory. As someone who loves various beauty products but has a capped budget, I find it hard to factor in R350 for shampoo and R300+ for a conditioner.. it's just not in my budget. But when I found this conditioner (Dry Oil) I've been blown away. It honestly feels like salon quality. It's amazing! I'll definately be repurchasing. I put it on the bottom 2/3rd's of my hair and leave it on in the shower for about a minute- You get the silkiest ends! Yet, at the same time it doesnt leave my hair oily and needing a wash the next day. I'd highly recommend this product.

I have been using the Dove Oxygen Shampoo and Conditioner for about a week now and I absolutely love the gorgeous fragrance from the bottle. However I personally do not feel that this specific range in Dove is suited for me, It gave my hair bit too much bounce which was not the best in the Durban humidity. Also my hair is not very thin but I did enjoy that my hair still felt really healthy and soft. It smelt amazing and I would recommend anyone with thin, frail hair to give it a try.

Using Hair Care Color I don't have to re-dye my hair every time, because there was no fading of my new hair colour, my hair is so light and full of life again...... I don't have to used to much serum anymore and NO MORE TANGLES.

I've been let of the word-of-mouth project for the Dove Advanced Hair Series Range.
I've currently been using the Dove Oxygen Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner, aimed at fine, flat hair. The shampoo smells super pretty, and makes you want to use the whole bottle on your head! Although, it is supposed to help moisturise your hair, I found my hair feeling slightly dry at the tips and didn't keep my hair looking fresh for long. So I would have to wash my hair everyday as I am a person who can't stand dirty hair!
I would totally recommend this product to someone with fine hair, in actual fact, I swapped shampoo after 4 days with my partner in the challenge and she said she absolutely loved it and would carry on buying it from now on!
I have currently before starting the experiment been using the Dove Intensive Repair, and would totally rate it a 10/10 it works absolute wonders and it make me continuosly wanting to smell my hair! It works wonders and would recommend it absolute anyone just because of its durability and repair work!

I really enjoyed using the dove products. The smell was the first thing that hit me when I opened the bottle. It was really pleasant and when you wash your hair, the smell lingers for days which is really nice because I received many compliments and my hair was fresher for longer. I used this product when i styled my hair and also when I wanted to leave it natural and I had the same results both times. I received the pure care dry oil range and it left my hair feeling glossy and helped tame my frizz. My hair is very dry because of bleaching but it feels softer and less tangled. I haven't used a shampoo that has made it so soft in a long time. The conditioner was also really thick which is a bonus when you have long hair. I also found that my hair stayed softer each time i washed it, meaning i used less and less conditioner each time! I would definitely repurchase this product again!

My mother also received the oxygen moisture shampoo because she has really flat hair and needed to use it so her hair could be more voluminous. within one wash, her hair was more bouncy and fuller. She used the shampoo and conditioner like you regularly would and had no tips or tricks with it whereas I rinsed my hair with cold water and dried it with a towel. No shampoo has ever made her hair that full though so she was very happy with the results and thinks that the product was very effective. She would also recommend this product and repurchase it.

Overall, the dove products are of a high quality and are very effective. The perfect range is very good because there is a products for everyone and they all work extremely well. i am excited to wash my hair again thanks to Dove! Thank you for including us in this review project. It was very fun to do!

1) Before anything else, this product is one that you can smell the moment you pick it up! It has a gorgeous fragrance that one can smell right through the packaging! The moment I opened the box when I received the products, I was in love with the fresh and divine scent of the shampoo and conditioner.
2) The packaging is really snazzy. This product looks extremely expensive, and while it does cost more than the everyday brands, it is so worth the price because of it's effectiveness. It does exactly what it says it will do.
3) My hair is short as well as coloured using boxed hair dye. Once I started using the DOVE OXYGEN MOISTURE SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER, the results were fantastic. My hair is fine and limp and the shampoo and conditioner added a decent amount of volume after I dried it, and the conditioner left my hair feeling soft and smooth without weighing it down, and added gorgeous shine and a very healthy look to my hair. I used it for a week and even my stylist asked me what I did to my hair because it looked so healthy!
4) Since my hair is short, I didn't need to use a lot of shampoo, but even if your hair is long, you will still find that a little goes a long way! It foams gorgeously and the longer you leave it on, the more effective the results. I usually cannot smell the shampoo fragrance because of the length of my hair, but this shampoo and conditioner duo was the exception. I could smell my hair as I moved all day long.
5) This combination is a true winner and although I love trying new beauty products, I will always keep this team in my bathroom as a staple product. It really works beautifully! Thank you so much for allowing me to be part of this testing team!!
