I received the dazzling new fragrance created by DKNY recently in a 50ml size. DKNY has long been a trusted brand in the fragrance world, and it certainly has not disappointed with this latest innovation.
The DKNY My NY EDP has a variety of scents to it, all blended together to create a unique fragrance. My immediate impression of the fragrance was that it has a delicate sweet floral smell, although I could also pick up slight hints of vanilla.
I researched this EDP to find out what different scents it contains.
The top notes of this fragrance are: raspberry, galbanum and pink pepper.
Middle notes are: jasmine, freesia and orris.
Bottom notes are: patchouli, vanilla, creamy musks and ambergris.
The middle notes definitely explained the floral scent I was picking up. I am rather a devoted fan of DKNY, and love this new product.
I absolutely HAVE to mention the bottle this product comes in. Its a stunning heart shaped container, with a silver lid that is patterned into little squares on top. The bottom part that contains the actual EDP is a tinted see through pink colour. This packaging definitely has a New York feel to it with the gorgeous lid, yet still looks feminine.
