Dirty Works Bling It On Shimmer Lotion helps you do the shimmy shake! It is a super shimmery potion. It gives skin a radiant glow for instant red carpet glamour. The shimmer lotion has a lightweight formula and it illuminates the skin with a golden glow. This is my go to product for that instant glow:)
I have been reading a lot about Dirty Works, and it is quite horrendous that I had not even tried it yet... So, I made a trip to Clicks and got a few products. And a polish that I have been after for a while!
Firstly, the packaging is so cute, similiar to Soap and Glory (but way way cheaper and easier to find!)
Secondly, for a UK brand they are very affordable!
he body butter isn't as thick as The Body Shops, it is more like a cream I think, but smells great and is a great moisturiser. If you have extremely dry skin, this may not work for you. I like it for a summer moisturiser, but I think I will stick to a thicker body butter for winter.
The first thing that got me was the retro packaging of Dirty Works. I got a gift set for my friend for Christmas... but she never got it. Why? Because I took such a liking in it that I took it. She got chocolates instead. #badfriend
I was fortunate enough to get a Pamper box as a gift, and will restock when needed. The scent is not too overpowering and won't compete with your fragrance, and provides effective moisture and suppleness to skin all day long. Dirty works offers luxurious pamper products at a good price.
I love the Dirty Works range. I have the supreme cream body butter. It has a soft, smooth creamy texture with an extra luxurious feeling. This body butter has an amazing original body works scent. The product should be massaged into damp skin to get a better nourishment and softer smoother skin. Plus the product comes in a 300ml tub which last really long, and is completely inexpensive for a rich body butter. Plus the body has two super nourishing ingredients which are shea butter and sweet almond oil. I will admit the body butter isn't too thick which is why it absorbs completely in skin, however it gives the most moisturising feeling ever. Plus you don't need to massage a lot of the product into you skin, so a small amount can be used on both legs. I would recommend you give this product a try because it is really nourishing, especially because winter is around the corner, I would also recommend this product if you have dry skin because its absolutely moisturising. Plus if you have sensitive skin, this product is perfect because it isn't heavily fragranced.
The butters come in Coconut Caress and Supreme Cream. Both are very thick, but absorb ultra fast leaving my dry skin soft and moisturized all day. The texture is more of a thick cream than a body butter which is actually great as it doesn’t leave any residue on my skin. I love all things coconut and the Coconut Caress smells fabulous, but the Supreme Cream is my favourite. When I finished the one that I got for Christmas, I immediately repurchased. The Supreme Cream feels a little more nourishing than The Coconut Caress. It contains Shea Butter and Sweet Almond Oil. It has a sweet, clean scent that lingers. This is my favourite body moisturiser at the moment. It’s perfect for hands and feet too. I love the packaging – so fun and quirky! Two thumbs up.
