I am slowly introducing the cleanser, into my daily routine. I started by using it every 3-4 days, and am building up to a daily usage. The reason I have introduced it so slowly, is the glycolic acid is something that my skin isn’t necessarily used to and I don’t want to cause my skin to go into overdrive again.
I swapped out my Foamer 15 for Cleanser 5, as the cleanser had less Glycolic acid. Dermaceutic is one of the first ranges to introduce glycolic acid into home-care products. It’s a nifty little molecule which penetrates the skin to accelerate exfoliation by destroying the links that bind dead skin cells together. As mentioned, my skin becomes exceptionally dry and flaky, after including the cleanser into my routine, I noticed that my skin did achieve the result of becoming smoother, while my pores tightened and contracted.
