This is definitely one of those classic old time beauty budget buys that we have all used at some point in our lives.
It smells great and a little goes a long way.
Its a good summer lotion because it is light weight and absorbed fast without being greasy.
But it doesn't quite do it for me for winter, its not thick enough to keep dryness away all day. I need a richer body butter for winter.
Honestly I only purchase it when I really need lotion and my beauty budget is done for the month though.

Dawn lotion is something I've grow up with!

I love the way it glides on so easy. Moisturises, yet does not leave a sticky waxy residue.
Dawn however is not so great during winter as it still causes my skin to crack.
It is a product I recommend in summer, also with a nice fresh fragrance and easy glide on time.

My parents bought this for us throughout the high school years , I use to love the way it smells .
For a lotion that is so cheap it did a fantastic job.

There were days when its extremely hot that it made me a bit oily but not to an extent where I would be uncomfortable .

I tried this again lately and still ever so happy with it .

Ive used all the variants, currently using the lanolin one and for me, this really is a good body lotion especially if for humid days as it is not too heavy or greasy. It keeps my skin moistruized for hours on end and smells great. This is still a family favorite, a brand that I always go back too.

Dawn Rich Lanolin Body Lotion smells lovely and feels creamy on my skin but it does not last all day. Smells lovely especially the purple one - lovely peaches.

This lotion is a fantastic budget buy. You get a lot of product for your money. The lotion is subtly scented and won't clash with your daily fragrance. Dawn Rich Lanolin Body Lotion is light and creamy and absorbs into skin quickly, leaving it immediately softer and smoother. However, after about 30 minutes the moisturising effects wear off. This product would be better suited to those with normal skins rather than dry skin like me.

Dawn has been around for as long as I can remember. It is great that they have improved their lotion formulas in order to compete in today's market. I remember my mom buying this Dawn lotions when I was a tiny tot, the smell is amazing with so many to choose from, I myself can't use these because of my eczema . They are super affordable and sometimes steal some to put on my hands... They are really great!

I grew up using Dawn lotions ,its an old time family fave .. I moved to other body moisturizers not because Dawn wasn't doing the job but because variety is the spice of life lol.. Although I always find myself going back to Dawn in between..Dawn lotion is glycerine enriched with added vitamins A & E. This particular one has a shimmer . it actually looks like teeny tiny diamonds sparkling on my skin and looks even more gorgeous on newly waxed skin ;) .. Dawn promises 24 hour moisturisation and delivers on that !

Dawn have expanded their range of body lotions and here is one you probably havent heard of, vanilla milk.
Yes, I too was caught off guard but not soooo much that I could not stop myself from buying and trying.

In My experience, Dawn body lotions are not very moisturising and do not last very long but, I was pleasantly surprised with this product.

Not only does it smells great; the vanilla just does it for me but, it is really very moisturising and keeps my skin nourished and hydrated for the entire day.

I bought a pack of 6 for around R 50 or so at Makro so its not a bdad deal for the small bottles.

Its very easy on the pocket, I paid R10.99 for mine :)

Very cheap range of lotions that have really great fragrances on offer. Good for everyday moisturisation.

This lotion is great for people on a tight budget. Great fragrances and except that you may have to apply a few times a day it does a good job of moisturising skin that is not in bad condition.

Not too fond of this product, does not keep my skin moisturised for very long
