For years my mother has been using this ritually!
just recently i decided to give it a try and wow.
after 3 weeks it left my hair much thicker and softer.
My dandruff issue ... GONE it smells okay but not something you'd want to keep on the entire day, so i leave it on overnight and wash off like a hot oil treatment.
Excited to see my hair in a few months.
Impressed for now
This is an all time favorite in every indian home. As long as there was a little girl in the house there would be a bottle of this oil there
The oil is a rich formulation that soaks up into your hair and scalp .
The best way to use this is to oil hair is partition hair first then apply it to ensure that hair is thoroughly covered , then plait hair and sleep with it.
Wash hair the next day thoroughly , it does take some time to get it all out of your hair but its worth the effort .
The oil aids in nourishing hair and keeping it moisturized . It adds tons of shine and best of all it helps to grow hair really quickly. And if you want to leave it on longer than just one night you definitely can.
After reading Sumaya's review, I remember so clearly that my mum used to oil my hair on a Sunday so she can plait my hair for the school week ahead . I recently decided to grown my hair since my hair was coarse and extremely curly I always kept my hair shoulder length . After 6 months of use my hair length is now nearly waist length , much more manageable ,silky and shiny and the great part that my hair has less frizz. The only thing that I do not like is the smell .
Growing up my mom would make sure she oiled our hair often and it's what contributed in helping it grow and keep it healthy .I don't use oil very often but when I do I use this. I apply it generously to my hair the night before making sure to massage it well into my scalp as well. The next morning I wash it off and am left with soft shiny tresses.
What works best for me is to apply a generous amount of oil to my hair the day before I wash it. Let it soak in nicely, then shampoo n condition the next day. It makes my hair softer, thicker and less split ends is visible.
So I used to use the Dabur gold range, it I also Amla oil but doesn't have the scent that is with the normal one! The jasmine one is for damaged hair, specifically chemically damaged hair!
It makes hair soft and increased hair growth exponentially when applied the correct way!
After shampooing my hair, I generously apply the Dabur Amla Hair Oil from roots to ends. I then cover my hair with a plastic cap as well as tying an old t/shirt or towel on top as the oil tends to drip. I leave it on for 20-30mins. Using Amla oil as an oil treatment has improved the overall health of my hair. It has made my relaxed hair not to break easily and this has helped me retain length.
