I purchased this foundation after having a consultation at the Clinique counter in Foshnini. 1st problem - the lights in teh store are NOTHING like real light and you do NOT look the same as soon as you leave the mall! 2nd problem - sitting in the chair doesn't give you any indication of how well the problem wears. I give this problem negative ratings on the colour (way too orange, although granted, that could be because the consultant sold me the wrong shade), price (priced similar to higher-end brands but does not perform the same) and wear (did NOT absorb ANY shine, sat on my skin instead of absorbing into it, felt heavy and uncomfortable). It did absolutely nothing to mattify and I needed to wear powder with it, which combined with the wrong shade just looked TERRIBLE! I would definitely insist on a sample bottle so that I could test it myself in better light and see how it wears dring the day. Unimpressed andf more than a little disappointed
I used this foundation for a very long time - it really helped my combination skin and stayed on for a long time.
Of course, there's always something better coming out so have moved on, but it still remains one of my favorites.
I do not have bad skin, in fact it is rare for me to even get a pimple. I do however have redness to certain sections of my skin. I used this foundation for a year but found that the coverage was just not enough, i could see the red under tone. I was a little disappointed with it.
A foundation that it is very easy to blend and work with!

I had a lot of samples of this foundation in Ivory and I loved it. Ivory is not very pale. I wear Revlon Colorstay in Nude (for the reference as I don't use MAC). This foundation applies very smoothly and evenly. It goes on in a thin layer but with a very good coverage (medium/full). I looks very natural and dewy. With regards to the balancing properties: I have combination skin and it works for me. However, if you have really dry skin and visible dry/scaly patches it will show. In moisture levels Supermoisture foundation is definitely better.
I did find that this foundation oxydizes a bit during the day (turns more orange) but I think this could be solved by getting a shade lighter.
