Clinique Anti Blemish Solution

Acne has really plagued my skin since I was barely a teenager and seems to show no signs of relenting. I have used numerous over the counter and dermatologist prescribed solutions, but nothing seemed to help without either making my acne much worse or having devastating side effects. I expected this product to be all hype and no action but surprisingly, I am impressed with the results.

Firstly it comes packaged in a classy, elegant box which is aqua with silver writing. The bottle, although plastic looks sophisticated. Although I was given a full sized sample and this was the bigger sized bottle, it is only 30ml making it pricey. With that said a little does go a long way and it does work after 3 weeks of use twice a day in conjunction with a mild cleanser and toner. My spots that were there before I started using the gel reduced over a few days leaving no scarring. Any new spots that appear now are not as inflamed and disappear literally overnight. My pores appear smaller and face does not look like an oil slick anymore. Somehow I will have to work this into my limited budget now.

I've been using the Clinique anti blemish gel for the past few weeks and have seen a difference in my skin tone,I have had I habit of popping my pimples so I've had a few blemishes on my cheeks and now they have almost gone .The only real problem I have with this product is that my skin feels abit dry after using it and also the smell is a little strong but once the gel is absorbed into the skin its gone .The price is reasonable considering the quantity of the product ,the gel doesn't need to be applied all over the face but just on the area the as blemish .its a gel that is absorbed in the skin quite easy .This is a really an amazing product :-)

Over the course of my lifetime, I have spent literally thousands of my hard earned money on products that promise to deliver clear, airbrushed skin with minimal effort. The fact that I am still trying out new products means that my quest for a product that works for a substantial period of time, has not ended yet. Even when a product does deliver on some of its promises, my skin is still not perfect without a bit of makeup to help cover uneveness of all kinds.

This product does well in controlling acne and sebum, but like everything else I have come across in my time, the solution requires constant perseverance and diligent usage. Results are certainly not overnight and will only be noticed after a period of a few weeks of continual use. You will have the ups and the downs in that the ingredients are a bit harsh and sting a bit, but no pain no gain I guess. At least at the end of the day my skin did end up looking better than it started off and that in itself is improvement. I can say that my blemishes are a lot less noticeable and so are my pores. Shine is a things of the past as well. It is a bit on the pricey side but it is something I think I will continue using in my skincare routine, at least as a spot treatment.

So I was quite sceptic at first about using this product I have tried so many products before for my mild hormonal acne, and they never worked. After 3 days I have noticed that new pimples were not appearing, they would go away in 1 day by themselves. After a week, I have noticed that my skin feels clearer and looks much better. Only thing that I noticed is that the toner is a little bit harsh for my skin as it is drying it a bit, but nothing too serious.
The product also clears my skin of oil and makes it slightly dry, which can be countered by using a moisturizer. At the moment, my skin isn't perfect, there are still a few bumps, but it’s the best my skin has been this year so far!! And I know it’s only going to get better from here. Blemishes that do appear are quickly dried out leaving no scar and I'm so happy about that! I feel like I'm doing my skin a good thing each time I use this product as after each wash my skin feels refreshed and clean.
Although as much as I love gushing about this product, I must admit, the product has quite a harsh chemical smell to it, which takes a while getting used to, but that is probably because I'm not used to using unscented products .
There are no huge pimples on my face and none that are forming and I can't remember the last time I didn't have a huge zit dominating my forehead or chin area

My Daily Routine:
Day 1: I used the product the previous night but applying it all over my face, my face felt so clean and refreshed when I woke up. In the morning I spot allied to each problem area. I can tell that the results will be positive.

Day 2 : Day two of using this product I felt slight dryness on my forehead and my upper cheeks, so I have now decided to only spot apply to the problem areas on my face, the product was working well in making my skin feel soft in other areas, and seems to be already making a positive difference to the blemishes. I am excited to see the results after the first week of use.

Day 3 : My skin feels deeply cleansed (again)

Day 4 : My skin no longer feels dry, only spot applying

Day 5 : I cannot see much difference to the acne scars on my face, but this is expected, acne scaring will take much more to fix then a solution, i do however feel like the bumps and pimples have almost disappeared leaving only the scars.

Day 6 : The blemishes are slowly fading, and my skin feels soft in most areas.

Day 7 : My oily t-zone has seemed to calmed down, no longer am I shiny at work! I am more happy with my skin now since it is making a very noticeable progress since the start of this system.

I would highly recommended this product to all those suffering with problem skin, like I mentioned above I have tried MANY products over the past years and nothing seemed to have helped, some products made my skin worse then what it was. Clinique Anti Blemish Solution did NOT make my skin breakout, the only down side was the dryness, but that can be sorted out within seconds!! I urge EVERYONE to throw away their products which are NOT working for you and go invest in Clinique, I know I am going to have to start investing in this product, the price is a little steep for me BUT its well worth the money spent!!

This product has to be my favs and a must have! it really works the second you apply it goes straight to work, after a hour you can see results as the redness and the swelling has gone down- i love this product as i normally have a breakouts during THAT TIME OF THE MONTH. And it clears any blemishes that a pimple might leave behind, you only need to apply an tiny drop on your pimple once or twice a day as i do, so it last long
