I found this particular item a bit of a disappointment. It was too harsh on my skin and did tend to leave my aggressive acne with what looked like burn marks which contributed to huge pigmentation blotches. I would recommend using only with moisturiser once a day to speed up the drying effect but not to completely zap zits as it takes a chunk of flesh with.

I have never used any of the Clearasil range of skincare products before, but after I started getting some stubborn breakouts I decided to give this treatment cream a try. It is a bit on the expensive side, about R58-R60 for 15ml but a little goes a long way. I have been using the product for about two weeks now and I am pleased with the results. I have not found a reduction in redness after the first treatment but there is definitely a reduction in the size of the spots. The product, so far, has been helping me keep my random breakouts under control and I would consider trying other products in the range.
