Clarins SPF15 Everlasting Foundation

I decided to try this foundation because it was one of the few brands that seemed to have a light enough shade for me. It's always a struggle to find a light enough shade, but I am currently trying out the Clarins Everlasting Foundation in the shade Ivory 103. I really like this foundation, it covers well and lasts quite a few hours. I'm not too fond of the smell (just personal preference) , but otherwise it's a really good foundation and I would recommend it to others.

I was sent this foundation as well as some Clarins skincare products to combat hyperpigmentation and I think the light formula is just lovely. As far as my (very) dark scars and blemishes, I do have to go over and put on two layers, however it's so light and mattifying there are no issues with shine and melting/glowing in the warm months.
Love the packaging as well. Recommend!

The Everlasting Foundation is lighter than a feather on your skin. you do not need layers applied to even the tone, i am taken by the lid to be honest easy to ope, easily applied, absorbs well on my skin and tones evenly. i am a Clarins fan with this product a must try and a must have i will advise. You do not need layers of this product meaning its there to last.

When I purchased this product, I had no idea how much i would fall in love with it!!
The Everlasting Foundation is excellent at giving medium to full coverage, dependent on how you apply it.
My shade is 117 (Hazelnut), and I was pleasantly surprised at how soft it left my skin feeling, and didn't make it feel tight and dry. It conceals blemishes and hyper pigmentation effortlessly and is also great on most skin types. I tend to be oily in my T-Zone area, but with this foundation, it lasts me the whole day, without me having to powder the T-Zone. It gives off a matte effect, so it might not be to your taste if you prefer a "dewy" look. You can just easily create definition to your face but contouring and light bronzing.

Clarins Everlasting foundation provides excellent full coverage and is definitely a great choice for oilier skins. It does go on very matte, so be sure to use a bit of bronzer or blush to liven up your cheeks. It lasts very,well even in humid conditions and is easy to remove at the end of the day. Definitely worth the money if you are looking for a full coverage foundation.

What I loved the most about this product is it's ability to provide an even coverage without making my skin appear dull and dry. It is definately buildable and you can apply more than one layer to cover dark marks, etc.

I had the hardest time finding a foundation that left my skin soft and supple, while also providing the necessary coverage. This foundation meets both needs. I never feel it dries my skin or looks caked on either. Absolutely love it and the build in SPF is a huge bonus. It provides a perfect canvass for what ever your next beauty regime is. Highly recommended

This is the best foundation that I have used in such a long time. It is simply extraordinary and I am not going to stop singing it's praises for a very long time.
Let's start of with the scent. It is heavenly to put something so lovely smelling on my face. The pump mechanism is also great. Because the formula is so smooth, there are no issues with getting the product out of the bottle.
Also, application is sheer, super blendable and easy. You need to use a little to cover up your whole face area.
The finish on my face is amazing. It covers up all my freckles and imperfections and really gives my skin a healthy and natural looking glow. It also does not feel heavy on my skin than other longlasting foundations would.
Lastly and very importantly, this product is anti comodogenic which means it will NOT clog your pores. I have been using it for close to a month now and I have had no breakouts, not even a little lump or bump.
It not only covers in a wonderful way, but it also treats your skin.

2. Yes it does cost R415 and if that puts you off, don't let it. It is worth every penny.
3. And yes, I have been a die hard Estee Laude Double wear fan, but not anymore.

I had always been an Estee Lauder Double Wear addict - it was the only foundation that stuck and lasted so well all day, with full coverage.

I read a review on this foundation and thought let me ask for a sample so that I can give it a go. It is amazing! It is more hydrating than the Double Wear, which can tend to be a little drying, and it smells fruity like melons. The colour match I got with this is better than the Double Wear one I had, and it lasts JUST as long and the coverage is the same. It feels much more comforting on my skin and it actually feels less like wearing makeup than the Double Wear does.

I am now going to be using this in place of my Double Wear, and the added bonus is that it's R35 cheaper too!

I own several foundations changing it as my skin requires different formulations as the seasons change.
Hazelnut for me was a perfect match for my skin.
Its mattifying long lasting;contains a sunblock that will not alter the colour of the foundation or leave you grey and is suitable for sensitive skins.
I highly recommend this for normal to combination skin types.
With its pump bottle you wont have bacteria or alteration in formula through drying.

A girl can never have too many foundations so it goes without saying that I was eager to try Clarins' latest innovation. It's absolutely divine and I was super impressed with application, coverage and longevity. I don't have to touch-up throughout the day and most fascinating, it smells lovely. As it is fragranced, I'm not sure of its sensitivity to sensitive, perhaps consult a Clarins' consultant for details on how it may react / not react with your skin condition.
