4.7 1 0.5Clarins Eau Dynamisante Invigorating Fragrance
My BF’s mum received this 30ml sample size at an event she attended and passed it onto me as she knows what a make-up and cosmetic lover I am.
This unique product took me by surprise as it wasn’t something I’d seen or heard of before. Research needed to be done and I was very intrigued at what I managed to attain about this wonder product.
This was a very cute and neatly packaged product. It came in a white and red Clarins gift bag with a welcoming note to Clarins and their products. The box was half white, half red on the front with alternating red and white writing on either colour. A pamphlet was enclosed that gave more information about this versatile product. The bottle is a brow colour with white writing and a white oval twist-of lid.
The box explains the product to being an invigorating fragrance; with the words Vitality, Freshness and Firmness written below. That was the confusing part, a fragrance being firming? This is the first Feel-good fragrance which perfumes, moisturizes, firms and energizers. Clarins, the specialist in skin care has combined for the first time the plants which have a fresh and pleasing fragrance as well as beneficial treatment actions.
The smell is very uhm different and kind of masculine with an acetone after scent. The main ingredients are Lemon, Patchouli, Petit Grain, Rosemary and Thyme which are the essential oils that contribute to the perfumes refreshing fragrance that promotes skin beauty and vitality. Aloe and Ginseng promote softer and smoother skin. It can be used at any time, including in the sun as it is non-photosensitizing.
It can be rubbed onto skin as you would body oil or just doused onto pulse points. The light weight non-greasy formula is easily absorbed and leaves no residue or uncomfortable feeling. The scent is strong at first but soon dissipates to a clean, fresh and invigorating smell. It did take me some time to get accustomed to the unique odour and I still haven’t noticed any firming results. I think it was a great try into something different by Clarins, but it fails to hit the spot for me.
