When it comes to body shaping and contouring products, there are a huge number of mixed feelings. Some people feel that no matter what amount you pay, it will not work and some people swear by it.
Me for one, has never tried it myself and was curious. Let's just say that I am not the type of person that would blow my money on a body shaping product seeing that there is so much of me to shape :-) . Anyway, when BB sent me this I decided to give it an unbiased try and review it to the best of my ability seeing that I have no experience in products like this.
I am not the smallest lady out there and have a fair amount of areas that needs tending to. When I received this product I decided to not use it on my whole body but to focus on two problem areas. My upper arms which is a little flabby with stretch marks and my upper thighs. Those two areas are my main concerns and I would notice if something changes there.
I have been using this cream for a few weeks now and I can especially see a smoothness and more-supple like appearance on my upper arms. Bonus for me as summer is around the corner and this product will help achieve my goal of wearing lovely, cool summer tops.
I also noticed that my upper thighs are a little smoother. In the sense that the cellulite and stretch marks are just a little lighter.
Look I know this is no miracle product that will melt away my imperfections, lumps and bumps overnight, BUT I am happy when I can see an improvement in an area that I had long ago given up as a bad day job.
The cream itself is white and has a very light consistency with a lovely fresh scent. It applies very easily and I have found that it works best when you massage it into the area you want to target. No sticky feeling on the skin and it does not irritate my skin at all.
Do I like it? Yes, I enjoy using this product.
Would I recommend it to anyone? Yes
Would I repurchase this again? Yes, if I have the money.
Would I have purchased it if BB did not send it to me? Seriously, I love Clarins products and believe that there is something magic about each one of their products, BUT my husband would kill me if I pay R530 for a tub of cream with promises and I have no guarantee that it will work. So my answer would be no based solely on my finances.
But, if you do have the money and is looking for a product to trigger one or two problem areas, then you might just want to give this a try as the results might be slow, but they are there and that is saying a lot seeing that some products are more expensive than Clarins and are just all promises and no performance!
