cK one Color Makeover 3-In-1 Face Makeup Foundation

I am not a regular make up user, but I decided to step outside my comfort zone and try the CK one 3-in-1.

I love the fact that it has an SPF of 8 as I am always outdoors. It is a light moisture base product. The shade I used is called sand.

I highly recommend this product! It exceeded my expectation. Thanks to beauty bulletin I am now a makeup convert!

The ck one 3-in-1 face makeup is a prestige foundation that as sleek on the inside as its packing on the outside. The ying yang style container is eye catching, branded with the ck logo and a little window reflecting the foundation colour makes it super easy to select your colour.

My perfect ck make up shade is sand and with just a twist of the cap a simple foundation pump is revealed. One to two pumps is all you need to achieve great coverage. This fluid spreads easily and smoothly and it smells great too! For an authentic make up look and excellent coverage, ck one 3-in-1 is all you need!

I received this illuminator as part of a prize from Beauty Bulletin. I had never tried Calvin Klein make up because it's too pricey for my pocket.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and effects of this product. Just a little drop of it on my chick bones and I had a flawless glow that had everyone in the office talking. I was asked several times what products I was using on my skin because I was glowing.

The package is not so smart though. I've lost a lot of product and cap comes out easily. I think for the quality of the product the packaging could have been smarter.

With eager anticipation I made my way to the Calvin Klein counter and all my expectations were blown away. The counter reflects the CK one bottle with black and white clean lines and the beauty assistant reflected the demographic of the brand; young, fresh faced with a zest for life. As a new mom my dark circles have been paramount but were magically erased with the mousse concealer and my complexion enhanced with the 3 in 1 foundation. As a lover on the ‘natural’ look an eye shadow base in Clean was applied to my eyelids after which the Bohoeyeshadow quad enhanced my large eyes. To further enhance my eyes mascara and a liquid liner was applied. A glow was applied to my cheeks with cream blush and further enhanced with the Cool illuminator. Lipgloss in Proper completed my look transforming me from tired looking to fresh and glowy. As a Psychologist I fully promote the need for reinvention on all levels to increase confidence and after leaving the makeover I certainly lived my own advise.

I was curious about the 3-in-1 foundation, and although I purchased a pot of the mousse concealer to brighten up the dark circles under my eyes, I decided to walk around with the foundation before buying it – my skin generally tends to break out when I use liquid foundation. I will definitely go back to get some though! Nuraan used 300 ‘sand’ for my foundation and 200 ‘fair’ concealer. The three things in the foundation are the primer (smoothes out your skin in preparation for makeup application), a serum (keeping the skin moisturised), and the makeup. The oil-free liquid is light and finishes matte, so it doesn’t feel like you’re wearing anything, and there’s no need to set it with powder. It also contains an SPF 8. I love how it hydrated my skin without me feeling or looking shiny.
