Chance Chanel Perfume

Not my typical preference but a girl needs to take a chance on something new ,pun intended*lol .. this is a sweet and sophisticated fragrance.. thankfully not too sweet as I can't bear overly sweet scents..

This is perfect for a special occasion when you want to make a statement..
As expected the fragrance is long lasting.. with all this said I still prefer my floral scents ..but like I said it's ok if you want a change from your usual ..

The search for the perfect fragrance for my wedding this past March was a difficult one. I sampled an array of fragrances from D&G, Valentino, Gucci, Dior and Givenchy. Nothing caught my attention quite like Chance by Chanel.

Firstly, I was never a big Chanel fan when it came to fragrances. Their fragrances like No. 5 and Mademoiselle were just too strong and reminded me of something my mother would wear. Hence, my surprise and utter delight to discover the refreshingly sweet and utterly elegant smell of Chance. It is sweet - without being overly so - and the smell lingers for days, even when used sparingly!!

This is without a doubt my favourite fragrance at the moment, however I only use it on special days as it is quite pricey.

A total winner in my books and a must-try to all those lovely, elegant ladies out there.

Since i hate standing in long lines i always pay by the perfume counter. The bottle immediately caught my attention. I just had to try some of it.

Here is my thoughts on it;
It is fresh, elegant, and beautiful

Its VERY sweet in a very peculiar sort of way, not sugary, not young, not fruity....its a sweetness that only quince can convey I suppose. Its not refreshing for a fruit either. It reminds me of those candies you get on your way out of some restaurants, not the licorice or mint ones but the sweet fruit ones. See how odd this scent is, you can hardly describe it. II neither like it or dislike it. Not your typical Chanel perfume.

My mom owns this perfume and every now and then I steal a bit from her. It's a pretty enough perfume for daytime, even though I prefer more edgy scents. A bit generic but nice-smelling nonetheless.

Chanel Chance has been my signature scent for quite a few years (almost 6 years). I find this scent elegant and perfect for every day wear. The patchouli in this fragrance is particularly beautiful - i find this fragrance easy to wear. I can wear it with a jeans & t-shirt and feel as well as for a more formal occassion and it seems fiting to both occassions. That is what makes this fragrance versatile. That it fits my personality.

I am a lover of all Chanel fragrances and chance was my signature scent for many years - however I find Eau Tendre a bit fleeting Its not something I expected from Chanel. Its smell very similar to Marc Jacobs Daisy. Regardless, it is a pretty scent

It comes in a very classy, round , flat, glass bottle with silver details on the sides. Not only the fragrance attracted me but as well as the packaging with a dash of pink on the only green perfume in the Chanel Chance range is definitely an eye-catcher.If you take a look at the bottom of the bottle, all details that you would normally find on a sticker or printed on an average bottle of perfume is classically engraved onto the silver details of the bottle. Another upside about this perfume is that it lasts for AGES (more than a day), I normally spray twice, once on my wrist which I dab onto my neck and once my clothes.

That said, if you’re into a feminine, flirty and fresh fragrance, definitely check this out! Lastly, if you want your fragrance to last longer, don’t rub it after you spray it , rather dab it to “spread” it out

I got one as a Christmas Present and i love the smell of the perfume and i think the price is okay for it, as it last the entire in your body. i would recommend this perfume to all woman

As all other Chanel perfumes-simply classy

The experience is uplifting, and awakening of the senses. This is not your average perfume it’s not your run of the mill floral or musk smell it holds its own amongst the rest, in the same breath however it is not over powering and does not irritate your sinuses. It is slightly understated; it smells great and is fun.

This one is a classic that every girl has to have a sample of! I love my Chanel, and it never gets old! I wear it for special occasions day or night. A lot of people think this is a particularly heavy fragrance for day-time wear, but my secret - get a gift set! You'll receive a tube of body lotion, etc. So slather that on instead of a few spritzes of the perfume! The reason why i like this perfume so much is that the top notes tend to linger on my skin for hours, so it smells very fruity on me instead of floral - it's unexpected but mouthwatering!

I received Chance by Chanel as a gift about a month ago. I didn't think I would like it as it seemed very girlie and I assumed it would be quite florally in scent. To my pleasant suprise it it is quite lovely, subtly fragranced.

This perfume was amazing, so sad when it was finished. It's a very strong scented perfume, but the amazing thing about the perfume is that it gives off such a soft scented smell n yet very effective. Since wearing the perfume, everyone I walk past wants to know what I'm wearing.

I asked for this fragrance as a gift for my 25th birthday. I wanted a perfume that would be more of a special occasion fragrance. I was planning on purchasing Miss Dior Cherie as it fit my usual perfume style of sweet candy smells but one whiff of Chance and my mind was swayed. The layering of the individual notes is really exquisite and I love it from the first moment of application till the faint hints of it on my skin the next morning. It has great sillage. I have the Eau de Parfum and one spray is all I need to last the entire day. Yes it is very expensive at just over R1000 for a 50ml bottle but I’ve been using it almost daily for over a year and I still have 2/3 of the bottle left. I get compliments from men and women when I wear this perfume and because it’s not that common I’m yet to find anyone else who wears it. When I wear this I imagine myself as a stylish 20 something in Paris walking through a garden in Spring time.

Lovely scent but too strong for me!
