The Cetaphil promise... if I may:

• Clinically proven to provide non-irritating and moisture-enhancing cleansing, while soothing the dry, itchy, skin symptoms associated with eczema-prone skin
• Patented cleansing technology offers rich suds that preserve skin hydration, leaving skin soft and smooth
• Advanced Filaggrin technology™ helps moisturize as it cleanses
• Safe even for babies as young as three months

I used the Cetaphil RestoraDerm Skin Restoring Body Wash and found it not bad at all. My daughter of 11 years however has been suffering with seasonal change eczema on certain parts on her body and face and used the Restoring Body Wash twice a day for 5 days in conjunction with the Cetaphil RestoraDerm Skin Restoring Moisturizer.

After the 3rd day I noticed the eczema next to her eye becoming more prominent. I advised her to carry on for another 2 days and to my surprise it worsen. She stopped using the Cetaphil Products immediately and applied (Levovate cream). By the following day her rash cleared up significantly.

I attach pictures for your perusal.

In my honest opinion I would not recommend this product for children with skin problems.
