I love a good 'budget' buy and this Catrice primer is most certainly one of those successful finds! The Catrice Prime and Fine Pore Refining primer is expected to be mattifying, long lasting and oil free. I did find this primer to create a mattifying effect, especially when applying my foundation over the primer. This primer was relatively long lasting, well long enough for me at least and the oil-free element was beneficial too as I generally have an oily skin type.
This primer is packaged in a relatively small tube (a great size to toss into your handbag) and the packaging is clean and simple. The primer fluid is a creamy white colour and it blends in effortlessly when applying. This primer also has no scent and feels gentle on my skin. For those of you who struggle with redness, I suggest that you give the anti-red base primer a go!
