Catrice Prime and Fine Eyeshadow Base

I have not used the one in the pot, but I currently use the one in the tube and I love it! I actually like it more than my Mac Paint Pot and my Mac Paint.

It is very creamy and applies like a dream. It does not set completely dry, but remains a little tacky. I usually set it with a little translucent powder.

It definitely enhances your eyeshadow colours and helps them last all day and I mean all day long. This stuff does not move unless you take it off. I always get complimented on my eyeshadow whenever I use this. I asolutely recommend this!

I have some eyeshadows which have been neglected, not because I did not want to use them but because they creased in five minutes. I had to give an eyeshadow base a try. I bought this one since it was affordable and I love the Catrice products I do have.

I was skeptical going in but this product actually worked on my oily lids. Finally I can wear eyeshadow. My eyeshadow lasted without creasing and the primer also gives your colour pay off a boost. It also helped with the longevity of my liquid eyeliner.

I never really knew about eye shadow bases and never really thought it was needed until I tried it and now I wont go a day with out it! this product it really awesome! I can see a difference when applying my eye shadow, it lasts longer, it doesn't go lay in the crease on my lid and it makes the color stand out more! love it

I give this product a full score. Why would you ask? Well, they say that this product improves durability and intensifies the eyeshadow.
Well, to be honest I never used any bases or primers before. Until now.
Let's start with the durability. I have always preferred to use more high end eyeshadows because I want my makeup to last the whole day. Because this product made more affordable eyeshadows last 65% longer, I have free reigns to use any brand of eyeshadow in pretty colours without compromising on durability anymore.
Then they claim it enhances the colour of the eyeshadow. It really does. I tried light and dark, matte and shimmer and each time the colour popped more with the use of this base.
My verdict is that this is an affordable product that lives up to it's claims, without compromising on affordability or effectiveness.
I don't think I will ever be without this product in my makeup bag again.

I absolutely adore Catrice and their products are fabulous, but I hated this eyeshadow base! I am not sure if I just bought a bad batch or what, but its like rubbing clay on my eyelids!

Not recommended!

I’ve been using this almost every single day since I got it - which has included a lot of very hot, very long days. Let me just say – this stuff WORKS. My eyelids also tend to be on the oilier side of things, so creasing/sliding of eyeshadows is a real problem but with this stuff on first, my shadows just stick in place no-problem.
