I much prefer a pencil for those with minimal brows like me, Catrice 030 has been my go to for a natural fuller looking brow.
I have one of these pencils at home in my makeup bag as well as in my handbag just in case I need to touch up.
They're affordable and as with the other items in the Catrice brand I find good value for money.
I prefer using brow pencils to powder products as my brows are already quite full with a natural arch, and with only some sparseness in at the front at the inner most parts of my brows.
Before I used this product, I was using the Essence Eyebrow Designer in Dark Brown. I found the Essence pencil to be much too soft, lending itself to heavier strokes that looked too dark and unnatural. I prefer a harder pencil, and the Catrice Eyebrow Stylist is a happy medium between the two products. It is not too hard so as to become uncomfortable to use, it suits the colour of my brows very well, and the product itself lasts very long. I particularly like the round, wand-like brush to tame those unruly hairs. I'll definitely be repurchasing this.
I was super excited when I got the Catrice Eye Brow Stylist as part of a makeup gift set from one of my friends. However when I tried it I was less than pleased.
I believe brows are so important as the eyes are the first thing a person sees when they look at you, so your brows must be on point as well.. I found the product not impressive. The spooly on the one end was fine, but the pencil on the other end ended up being too light, ashy and didn't even apply on properly... I didn't find it to blend at all, and application was somewhat of a nightmare.
I dont see myself buying it again. The Essence pencils and Yardley ones are MUCH better. for around the same price or just a little more.
I've only gotten into brow products in the last year or two, and this pencil has been the least favourite of anything I've tried for my brows. The pencil is quite hard, and not overly pigmented (and I got the darker shade too), it doesn't match my brow colour well at all, and just doesn't really seem to make much difference.
Perhaps I bought a dud one? But I don't fancy using something so hard, as it tugs my skin so much. I've been using a difference branded one now, and it does a much better job, and I set it with the Essence brow gel, which is fantastic.
I absolutely adore this eyebrow pencil. It's really easy to use, blends wonderfully, has great shades to pick from and lasts all day without fading. It leaves a very natural look, and the brush at the end is fantastic for combing and blending the colour out for a natural look.
This is my go-to brow product, I've used many products but this is perfect to outline your eyebrows before going back in with a powder. It is super bendable and it doesn't make it look like you took an eyeliner and drawn eyebrows, and the brush that comes with it is also great for taming those unruly brows.
