I managed to get 3 colours on sale at Dischem this weekend and I really love them. They are soft and apply easily. The grey one is not super pigmented, but I like that i can build colour vs starting with too much.

I paid R20 on sale, which is a bargain!

This product can be purchased at Dischem at R20.00 ( really cheap )

I have mine in the colour of 430 ( "Luke SkyStalker" ) which is a silverish grey colour.

This colour isn't too intense, you have to apply a lot before it shows.

I like to wear this when I just want a little something on my eyes.

If you're going to do a whole look with this, I recommend firstly putting on a white colour or maybe beige to make this stand out more.

I would definitely purchased some more colours of this range in the future.

I was very disappointed with my catrice eye shadow purchase. Firstly the colours do not match my skin type at all.. I searched and searched and still could not find the correct colour. I ended up taking some copper and it was a disaster. Then, the shadow is way to heavy for my lids and ends up smudging soon after application. This was very disappointing.

I still have the shadow with me but will most likely end up giving it away.

I only have the colour Starlight Expresso, but I am so impressed that I want to get more. It is not too powdery, very good colour payoff and blends nicely. This particular shade is the perfect balance between grey and taupe and awesome for creating a mauve look. The price is also very reasonable. Definitely recommend!

I recently purchased 3 of these beauties from Dischem. They were on SALE (PS that is my fave 4 letter word next to FOOD) for R25.00 each, I grabbed the ffg Shades:
Carrots Of the Caribbean - An orangish shade great for blending or using lightly to highlight
Lilac Del Rey - Pretty Purple Colour which can be used for a soft smokey or eye
Inglorius Mustards - Goldish Yellow shade perfect to using as a base or with bronze for a shimmery au naturale look.

I have two eye shadows in this range from Catrice, the one a bronze brown shade and the other a light silver grey. I use them constantly! They are long lasting, and great for blending with darker shades in my make up collection. They are a steal at the price that you pay! I always see these eye shadows on sale at Dischem for around R15, the quality you get extends way beyond the price you pay for these beauties.

Do yourself a favour and try out the Catrice Absolute Eye Colour single eye shadows. The quality is fantastic and with even one application of the eye shadow you get sufficient colour. The eye shadow powder feel almost silky and the two shades I selected had a subtle shimmer finish.

The names of each shade of eye shadow is rather clever and comical, the two shades I used were 'Carrots of the Carribean' (a slightly orange-bronze shade) and 'Inglorious Mustards' (a mustard-gold shade). Great price, super quality and fun colours to select from you can't go wrong!

Came as part of my R200 Catrice make up bag. This toffee coloured eye shadow is devine. Its a light toffee brown that's perfect for that barely there look. I would use this colour for daytime make up as it is very light, but still gives a little bit of colour to the face.

Finding a perfect eye shadow is so difficult especially if you are on a tight budget. I'm definitely into my nude colours but find it frustrating when I can't find an eyeshadow that matches my skin tone. After spending a fortune at MAC, I found this beauty at Dischem for only R40.

The colour I bought was the 340 Ooops.... Nude Did it Again! Such a cute colour name :-)

I use it on its own when I just want to pop to the grocery store, or I use it as a base colour. I am so happy with how long it lasts throughout the day, I definitely would go back for more in their range.

Catrice has become my new favourite brand in the last 2 months, I never gave the stand a second look but while browsing through Dischem one day I decided to give it a try.
I have been so impressed by this range that I go to Dischem every month and check what the new launch is. They launch a new range as essence does, last time it was all the reds and this time it is more the earthy colours. I bought one of these mono shadows in gold and absolutely love it. I use it over my normal shadow in the evening for a bit of shimmer and on weekends I sometimes take a small dab at it for a very natural look with a hint of sparkle.
Since then my Catrice range has grown remarkably and I recommend giving this range a try

I recently decided that it was about time that I tried out an eyeshadow from Catrice. I always tend to head to the Essence stand for eyeshadows but for once I decided to actually spend some time at the Catrice stand.

I was running out of my one deep purple eyeshadow and naturally I always tend to gravitate towards purples. This also means that I have tried MANY different shades of purples from various brands and I must say I am incredibly impressed with this eyeshadow, especially when one considers how affordable Catrice products are.

The purple has a slight shimmer to it but one thing I really liked was that it was subtle, which makes it perfect for day time. Sometimes eyeshadows have too much of a shimmer that isn't always appropriate for daytime and the shimmer at times overwhelms to colour. This eyeshadow had a deep plum colour with shades of gold in it that makes it truly unique. If you have have green or brown eyes this is an absolute must!

The eyeshadow lasts well throughout the day without any creasing or too much fading of the colour's intensity. The pigmentation of the eyeshadow is incredibly good because you do have complete control over the intensity of the colour. It's very easy to create a light or dark look with this product. It also spread easily across the eyelids.

I bought this mono shadow for R35 at Dischem and seriously can't wait to go get some more colours to experiment with and pick up a few other products.
