I’ve recommended Carmex to all of my close friends and family, we’re all using this brand only. It’s moisturising, nourishing and works as a great lip primer to protect yoir lips from being chapped.
Would love to work with this brand as well.
After winter our lips are left dry and cracked and patchy but with the help of the Carmex lip moisturizing lip balm all those problems fade away. Summer is creeping in fast and everyone knows our lips needs to be on point. This lip balm I have used for years now, and its my go-to every time. It is spf 15 its great for outdoors. As soon as you apply a layer on your lips, you immediately feel it working , i love the menthol feeling. Leaving it soft and hydrated with a slight sheen (how cute) no need for a lip gloss. It weights about 10g, and you get approximately 11,6 ml of product. This product is not vegan, it contains lanolin (a fatty substance found naturally on sheep's wool.) Overall This lip balm is BOMB and every girl needs one in her handbag all year round.
If you want a lip product that is highly moisturizing and great treatment for your lips... NOTHING beats Carmex Lip Balm! Its one of the best I've used, and its inexpensive and well worth it!
The minty scent not only makes it a pleasure to apply but it also hydrates the lips.
Definitely a great treatment for dry or chapped lips! I love it!
Carmex is by far one of the best lip products I have used for dry lips. Summer can be equally as harsh on your lips as Winter and Carmex really nourishes and sorts out cracked lips over night. I also love the tingle it leaves on your lips.
I always have lip balms laying all over, I've tried Labello, Click's brand of lip balms, Soft lips to name a few and I somehow never have enough. I have one in my car, one in my hand bag one in my dresser draw, bathroom, etc etc bcos I don't like dry lips!
Before winter approached my lips were getting really dry so I decided to opt for a more specialized lip product. I paid around R50 for this product but it was worth every cent. I'm still using my tub every morning and evening. It gives my lips that extra moisture before I apply lip stick.
I'm prone to cold sores especially when my lips are dry and end up licking my lips so I need to keep my lips moisture all the time. Since I started using this product I haven't had a cold sore! So it's def a keeper!!!!
This is a great product and I can't wait to try other Carmex products!
Carmex! It helped with the dryness slightly, but stung my lips a little. I had to re-apply it quite often, since the moisture relief didn't last very long unfortunately. I think this is a good product, but just not for my current needs.
This has truly been a miracle product for me! I have just recovered from one of the worst bouts of flu I have ever suffered and as a result I have been suffering from an extreme case of dry chapped and cracked to bleeding lips and nothing was helping them to heal! That is until I tried Carmex, wow, within a day the difference was remarkable, this is beyond a doubt the best lip balm I have ever used. I highly recommend this lip balm to everyone!
Back in 2006 when my dad came back from London, he was telling me about this Lip balm called Carmex that he used when he was over there and said it was great, and wanted to know if I knew where it could be found here in SA, and obviously i didn't, as at the time I have never heard of it!
So a few years later, I spotted the bright yellow lip tin in Dischem and remembered the name and bought it for him and he simply loves it, so i decided to try it, so was ecstatic to find the cherry flavored 1. I simply love this lip balm as it really goes the distances and moisturizes my lips, making them soft and smooth, and is a real life saver in winter as i apply it in between lip gloss fixes (hehe) and it really keeps my lips from drying out.
Overall a good buy and is really affordable, I have only seen it at Dischem though, So not sure of other stockist
I don't usually use lip balm (I know, I know). A while ago I read a review on Carmex lip balms, so decided to give them a try when I spotted them at Dischem. I'm obsessed with anything cherry related, so it wasn't a hard sell :) I have been using the tube one for about 4 days now and my lips are already much softer and not so cracked. It has a tingling sensation on my lips, which I suppose must be the menthol. The scent is yummy, but obviously has a more medicinal smell/taste when applied. I really can understand why this is considered a Top Lip Balm as it really has healed my lips and converted me into a regular Lip Balm user.
I'm a lip balm junkie and I'm always looking for the next best thing for keeping my lips soft and supple. I purchased this product in the original flavour with the squeeze tube packaging which is more hygienic. The balm is clear and has a vaseline like consistency. It absorbs quickly and leaves my lips feeling soft. The menthol and camphor made my lips feel tingly at first and then a little numb. It has no really flavour our than the slight menthol taste and the scent is very medicinal. It can also be used to treat cold sores but I haven't tried it for that purpose. Overall I like this lip balm although I'd probably try the fruitier cherry/strawberry flavour instead. It retails for R31.00 at Dischem stores and pharmacies.
