Budget busting lipbalm

Zam-Buk is an institution with South African families and has been loved for many many generations as a traditional embrocation. Created in 1903 in Britain, this was first-aid balm treatment for cuts and abrasions. After the discovery of penicillin, it began to vanish from the shelves. However, Zam-Buk survives in it's original form in South Africa where it is used also for muscular aches, insect bites and more (think Tiger Balm but better)

I don't know, I love the tin, love the smell (its like a cherry/strawberry menthol), but the product itself is hard, you have to swirl your finger around for a while in order to heat it up so that you can spread it on your lips...

These Zam-Buk cherry menthol flavor balms sit pretty in their cute tins. They leave a glossy kiss of blushed color in their wake and are powerhouses of protection against the elements.
