I recently went on a bit of a Bourjois bender the last time I was in a Red Square store. Along with the Healthy Mix foundation I picked up I stocked up on some mascara and these babies - Eye Pearls.
What really appealed to me was how nice they looked in the packaging and the colours appealed, but If I'm totally honest these were a major impulse buy. Still they happily went into by shopping basket and then got carted off home.
The packaging doesn't list a name, but I looked them up on line and this palette is called Illusion. You also get a brown/nude, blue and grey palettes. I have green eyes and the purple shade makes my eyes appear really green. There are five colours - a highlight, contour, shade, shimmer and liner. They blend really well and have good staying power. I also thing they could be quite versatile. You don't need to use all five shades and can make really pretty, subtle looks or go all out for a glam smokey look.
What I liked: Nice pay off, great blendability, smooth going onto the eye and good staying power. Also the packaging is cute and you can pop it into our handbag for touch up cause its quite compact and small.
What I didn't: the 'pearls' are just that - small dots of colour which for the price is not the greatest. They're really small, pretty, but small. Also there's so much space inside that could have been used to give a bit more product and I feel its wasted a bit.
All in all I like the product, but I don't think I'll buy it again.
