Bourjois 1001 Lashes Black Quartz Mascara

this mascara has a nice applicator brush which allows you to comb out each lash and get to the the root of the lash however the product itself is not waterproof and tends to clump. Sadly will not be purchasing this product

this mascara is nice. Goes on smoothly leaves no blotches on the eyelashes. One coat is sufficient.

I’ve never tried a product from this makeup brand, so I thought I’d give it a go. What really caught my attention about this mascara was its brush. The bristles are short in some places and longer in others. So, I was pretty keen to see what the result would be once it was applied.

I can’t say I was absolutely wowed by this mascara. Yes, it made a difference. It lengthened my lashes very well, but it didn’t plump up my lashes or give it that fullness I really want when using a mascara.

I also found that it made my lashes clump together, making my lashes look like spider legs. I think this is because of the consistency of the actual mascara. It’s a bit too runny, so it doesn’t hold on to the lashes as sufficiently.

Effective, but not the best mascara in my opinion.

Was not very impressed with this mascara. Got it as a free gift, but will definitely not buy it with my own money! Wand is way too thin. I have to go over and over and over my lashes to get enough product on them. It makes my lashes look very sparse and it smudges around my eyes during the day. Only good thing about this mascara is the colour. Very nice black!

I got this in glambox or rubybox I cant remember now, but its a nice mascara definitely not waterproof. Once I cried and had black all over my eye area, not a pretty look coupled with red eyes.

Between my Rubybox and Glambox subscriptions I have received quite a few different mascaras recently, and this one is my absolute favourite.
It is a lovely glossy black colour and I find that the shape of the brush makes applying even to tiny corner lashes super easy! For day I use just one coat of this mascar, but even that gives a lovely dramatic look, and I have received lots of compliments on my lashes while using this mascara.
When all of my freebee mascaras eventually run out I will definitely be buying this one for myself!

Also got it in my Glambox... this is my first experience with this brand and I am quite happy. It is a non-clumpy, smooth application formula mascara. I like the effect it gives to my lashes. Quite intense look even if I dont use any eyeshadow! I like the brush as the bristles coat my lashes very well

This is probably my new favourite mascara. I use it all the time. I will most definitely repurchase this product. This mascara claims to have a new formula containing luminous quartz that makes lashes appear visually multiplied and ultra black pigments to colour the lashes from root to tip. I have to agree with this. My lashes look thicker and longer. I love how it also separates each lash so you aren't left with clumpy lashes.

It feels light on your lashes and gives your lashes a very dramatic look. This mascara has probably been the lengthening mascara I've ever used. Fabulous.

Simply in love with this va va voom mascara... one coat makes your lashes pop and I love the design of the bottle. Replaced my favorite mascara with this one

I got this mascara in my December Glambox and being a lover of Mascaras, was very excited to try it out. I was very happy with the results. The wand separated lashes nicely although I do sometimes struggle to get an even coat on my lashes due to the shorter bristles on the brush. Luckily though this is solved by applying a second coat, which goes on smoothly with no clumping. I have found that the lashes look good for the entire day.
