Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in Black Ink is my favourite gel eyeliner. Here are a few reasons why I love it:
1. The Bobbi Brown gel formula glides on smoothly without any fuss & stays in place
2. Really stays true to its promise of ‘long-wear’. After 6 hours of wear, it looked as good as when I put it on (Tested with Black Ink )!
3. Works well as a base
4. Non-irritating
5. Easy to remove
The only downside is that the product does not come with its own brush so you'll have to purchase a separate brush on its own.
Price-wise the product retails for around R250.00 which is not too bad given the quality of the product but I do understand that it is quite a lot for some. The Black Ink (1) has a net weight of 0.1 oz or 3g so effectively you would have to pay R83.33 per gram.
Tip: While applying gel eyeliner, turn the bottle upside down to prevent drying-out. If any product does dry out in the bottle, add a little liquid eye-makeup remover and that should make it easier to work with.
