When I first spotted this inside my Oscar hamper prize I must admit I went "Whoa". I don't usually wear such sparkly, flashy extreme eyeliners. So i figured I probably wouldn't use it. BUT, after trying it out on my eyelids I was pleasantly surprised. The colour which appears very yellow gold on the stick and on a hand swatch doesn't translate as brightly or garish on your lids. It's a lot more subtle and actually very pretty if you are going for a gorgeous, evening Midas makeup look. So I am rather happy with this. If it didn't cost so much (eek!) I would try get hold of the silver one. Ok so the pro's are that the applicator is super small and precise, so it makes it very easy to apply. The consistency is also great and is very smooth once applied. The super-fine applicator tip helps you apply this liner like a professional and you can make a nice thin line quite easily and you don't even need a surgeon's steadiness. Now for the con's. This stuff dries super fast, which isn't really a con, but if you want to smudge this a bit you have to work extremely fast. I don't find this to be as waterproof as they mention in the description. If you rub it a bit it can also be a bit flaky and almost peel off a bit. If I just splash water on my face before I actually wash it then some of this eyeliner will have already washed off. Now I know for most people this is considered a bad thing, which is why I added it to the cons list, but for me it isn't really an issue. I don't look for waterproof makeup. When I have makeup on I don't plan on getting my face wet and if it happens to rain or I cry my makeup will be ruined anyway. I also don't have a problem with perspiration and even on super hot days my makeup usually stays in place. So for me there aren't that many cons, besides the slight flaking.
