For the price I payed for this lip protection, I would expect that it encombasses all lip problems as well as enhancing its condition. This does not disappoint in any way as does provide 5 star ultimate treatment to your lips. Defends skin on lips from the harsh environmental conditions to provide moisture deep down and plump form the inside out. Keeps lips nourished and subtle. Thumbs up for this!

I am so accustomed to buying my little tub of blister but when I went into clicks a few days ago, I noticed they were out of stock. So I just decided to try something new in the mean time. I decided to get the 5 star protection because it claims to protect against dryness, sun, heat, cold and wind.
The balm is packaged in a tube and you twist it at the bottom to push the product up. I love this because I always found that the original Blistex (as much as I love it) is kind of unsanitary because you have to keep dipping your fingers in it.
This lip balm is not scented and does not have that tingle you usually get from the original blister. It contains glycerine which helps with the moisture factor. It definitely lives up to the dryness claim. My lips are incredibly moisturized with just one swipe of this balm. It also contains spf30 so it protects against heat and the sun. As for cold and wind, I cannot say yet as it is still summer.
I love this product but I do prefer the original blixtex. This balm sort of feels like vaseline on my lips and that is not a feeling I really like. I like wearing it under lipsticks just to give it a bit of moisture.
I paid R60 at Clicks for it.
